Great insight Matthew Pack! It can be challenging as a new hire, however keeping an open mind for guidance and being able to adapt are helpful reminders. Having a new hire can also be difficult for team members. It takes time for a team to build trust in your abilities, however maintaining an understanding perspective allows your team the time to learn your skillsets and strong points, helping the team continue to grow in a healthy culture.

A firm that promises to fire under-skilled employees rather than training them deserves the Worst Place to Work Award. Recently, when I joined a firm, thinking it was a great place, the department head promised to fire underskilled people rather than train them. I argued that training would be my job, and firing them wasn't a great step or solution. But sadly, they were adamant about it, and I had to quit the firm due to the poor staff outlook rather than being professional about it. #Training #Job #Agency #DigitalMarketing #Professionalism
