Insurer approved third party certification is a good way of assessing how construction products perform in practice, beyond what is required for regulatory compliance. With the rise in energy prices, the demand for solar PV modules has increased, leading to a greater need for more extensive fire testing. FM4478 is a standard that states the approval requirements for rigid PV modules that are installed with a roof assembly, and we have recently achieved FM4478 for our rooftop solar PV solution, PowerPlus KS1000RW. Why do we measure soiling the way we do? Check out our NEW white paper and learn how we can help make your solar plant more efficient.
Our 🆕 white paper addresses the IEC 61724-1:2021-compliant methodology of comparing short-circuit current from two PV modules to determine soiling loss on operational solar PV installations. Why is this method widely accepted? Find out why and learn how our DustVue Solar-Module Soiling Sensor uses this methodology. Read the paper at https://lnkd.in/gfm2k453 #DustVue #photovoltaic

Share After installation, will the photovoltaic power generation system still work during consecutive rainy or foggy days? Will there be any power outage? The photovoltaic battery modules can generate electricity even under weak light conditions. However, during consecutive rainy or foggy weather, when the solar radiation intensity is low, if the operating voltage of the photovoltaic system cannot reach the start-up voltage of the inverter, the system will not work. The grid-connected photovoltaic system operates in parallel with the distribution grid. When the photovoltaic system cannot meet the load demand and does not work, the electricity from the grid will automatically supplement it. Therefore, there is no issue of power outage affecting user electricity consumption. #BIPV #SOLAR #TILE

Italian PV installations in H1: +44%. As of June 30, the total amount of PV in operation in Italy reached 3,3,623 MW, for a total of 1,763 MW. 977 systems have been installed. Over the past 12 months, PV capacity has increased by 6,253 MW, with 339,991 new systems in operation. As the pie chart shows, the share of new systems in terms of power is very different: the 1-12 kW size accounts for 25% of the total capacity; the share of 1-10 MW plants is increasing and is currently at 20% #solareenergia #energiarinnovabile #solarbatteria #lifepo4batteria #energystorage #batterysystem #homebatteria #cleanenergy #energia solarpower

Or, even better, Join us LIVE in a webinar next week, May 30th, 9:30 am PT. https://lnkd.in/gYs5g5W5 Enphase Power Control helps installers expand their business, by allowing expansion systems under NEM 2.0 guidelines, so that homeowners can offset those electric bills they have accumulated from adding on extra sources of electric around the house (or just not having enough PV in their first system.) I know everyone want's to get their NEM 1/2 systems from the past giving them max credits offsetting their utility bill, while not knocking them into NBT, or NEM 3.0 in California.
Solar Installers, Are you interested in learning how to increase your solar system size to match increased consumption without disrupting the current Net Meter program (NEM1 or NEM2)? Enphase has done the work and is now ready to provide the solution. By using Enphase Power Control you can now expand your NEM 1 or NEM 2 system beyond the standard 1 kW limit and keep your grandfathered NEM status. Please join one of our pre-recorded webinars to learn more. https://lnkd.in/g9pKx4Rv #enphase, #NEM3, #alwayson
