Now if this is not the best way to start a Monday, I am not sure what is... A homemade yogurt parfait is super easy to make and high in protein, low in sugar (which is what you want for the first meal when you break your fast). I usually whip a little nut butter into the yogurt and sprinkle some cinnamon to make it light and creamy. Then I vary the toppings to get different nutrients and benefits. For this parfait I topped it with cacao nibs, chopped raw walnuts, goji berries, fresh strawberries and blueberries. Filling, satisfying, nourishing, and DELICIOUS!
