People often ask what I mean by monetizing content creators and African culture. and how? That is when I tell them about Caribbean as an example of successful cultural marketing.
Despite the tremendous value and recognition Ethiopia received from this connection, there was a missed opportunity to fully capitalize on it.
This connection goes beyond music—it's about honoring the cultural heritage that Ethiopia and Rastafarians share.
Ethiopia holds a special place in Rastafarian culture as a land of unity and spiritual significance. (we never saw or adored sadly )
Kese eventsWe're gathering the community by giving artists a platform to express themselves. Whether through live performances, art exhibitions, or cultural events, we’re turning passion into profit while celebrating our shared heritage.
By organizing events and creating spaces for artists to showcase their music and art, we’re not just celebrating our shared heritage; we’re also generating revenue and driving cultural tourism. It’s about recognizing the value of our cultural assets and turning that recognition into tangible benefits for our community

Global Appeal to Musicians: Make a Difference Again!
In times of crisis, music has always been a powerful force for change. Remember Live Aid and “We Are the World”? These events not only united musicians from around the globe but also mobilized millions and brought hope and aid to those in need.
Today, we face new crises with suffering and pain being ignored in Ukraine and Palestine. It’s time to remember the transformative power of our art and unite once more.
Let’s raise the voices and instruments to demand action and justice. Music can be a beacon of hope and an irresistible force for change. If every artist joins this cause, we can create a wave of solidarity that cannot be ignored.
Share this message, use your talent to inspire and mobilize. Let’s show that when music comes together for a common purpose, it can truly make a difference.
We are united in this fight. Let’s use the power of music to turn lament into action and indifference into hope.

Anger is a problematic emotion. We often associate it with outbursts, tantrums, violence and disgrace, but anger is actually really healthy. At the core, it is a simple information that our boundry has been violated and we must do something about it. Stand up, speak up, resist - there are so many ways of expressing anger, which are healthy and completely necessary to our growth as humans. 'Ira' in Latin means anger and is about the urge itself. This is it! 🎵 I am so thrilled to share with you my last work for orchestra, Shores (working title: "Longing For Belonging"), conducted by Erin Bodnar. I want to thank the Mostly Modern Festival for choosing my work and giving me this tremendous opportunity to make my music happen - it's more rare than you could imagine!
The piece has a suffered story. If you want to know more about it, here's an extract of the program notes.
"It all started with “The Island” - a long time ago, probably during the pandemic in 2020, as a musical theater piece [...] meant to be based on a dialogue by Cesare Pavese, part of the book “Dialoghi con Leucò”. I remember reading this book and that “The Island” dialogue in particular, and getting so emotionally involved. It was about the story between Odysseus and Calypso, in a sort of alternative ending of the Odyssey where the protagonist decides not to come back home, but stay on the island with Calypso, because - freely paraphrasing her words from the book:
It's just an island, what difference does it make where you decide to lie down and rest your head?
And even if you eventually manage to come back to Ithaca, will you even be able to recognize your own houses after 20 years?
And the people? Some of them will certainly be understanding, but will you ever be able to share what you have seen and done?
You will feel more alone than in the sea.
At the time, I found it interesting for the implications of the piece: it was full of insights about what it means to be isolated, and what is the meaning of travel and returning home. It was, as I said, during the pandemic, so of course, the theme was also resonating with the current situation in my life where I was in Germany and couldn’t come back home to Italy. It was a tough time in my life, I was scared for my loved ones - I remember having nightmares every single night.
Anyway, the project evolved, but I never actually managed to make it an opera: not only because of the lack of funding, but also - to be honest - because the dialogue was so full and rich of intellectual interest that I found it difficult to transpose it into a libretto to be sung and not really “understood”.
Here is the fantasy in G minor from my new album by Hélène de Montgeroult
The fantasy in g minor is the last piece in the 3rd volume of the Cours complet and has the influence of Mozart and the Italian opera in its improvisatory style, diversity and contrasts of Character and mood , the use of distant keys and a vague tonality and a cyclic approach as in an epic composition of the 19th century. https://lnkd.in/d9CDP7SE
