🌊 It's always fun to bring together international experts and those from our maritime cluster to shape the future of maritime technologies. 🌍 ☺️

🌊 Highlights from This Year’s Open Simulation Platform (OSP) Conference 🌊 This year’s OSP conference, hosted alongside Digicat Norsk Katapultsenter, SINTEF, DNV, and Kongsberg Maritime, drew global attention with participants from around the world. The event focused on co-simulation, innovation, and the future of the maritime industry. We also introduced a second day dedicated to hands-on workshops, allowing attendees to dive deeper into simulation challenges and opportunities. The conference started with insightful presentations, including Zeabuz’s work on autonomous surface vessels, VARD Design and Brunvoll AS's use of simulation in the "Sea Zero" project, and Damen’s approach to co-simulations in shipyards. AHO also shared their progress on developing open-source software in the "Open Bridge" project. A key highlight was the OSP panel debate, featuring industry leaders like Tomi Liias (Rauma Marine Constructions Oy), Seung-Hyup Ryu (HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (HD KSOE), Aleks Karlsen (DNV), and Karthik Sankaramoorthy (Damen), who discussed OSP’s role in system integration and risk mitigation. In the afternoon, DNV presented their advancements in machine learning and maritime cybersecurity, while KSOE showcased their cloud-based digital twins for LNG carriers. The conference sparked valuable discussions on how OSP can drive innovation and efficiency in the maritime and offshore industries. The event concluded with a "Blue Maritime Hangout," offering a relaxed networking opportunity. The strong collaboration among industry leaders highlights OSP as a crucial tool for system integration, testing, and verification—helping to reduce time, risk, and costs in the maritime sector. Thank you to our collaborative partners, our experts who shared their insights and engaged in discussions, and to all participants. 👏 If you'd like to learn more about OPS, you can just follow the link in the comment section below. #OSP #Innovation #DigitalTwins #CoSimulation #MaritimeInnovation #Networking
