Today marks 1 month since I joined the Drupal Association team. Time truly flies and let me say: what a month it was! Being excited and slightly overwhelmed, I didn’t share with you that in my new role I joined the Starshot initiative. Being part of this exceptional team that is paving the road into the future for Drupal CMS is a privilege and a pure delight! I am so very taken by the product we all are anxious to see hitting the market, as I am certain it will bring in a positive change in its segment as well as will push our love for Drupal to yet new level ☺️ That being said, you still might wonder what is that I ACTUALLY do. So let me shed some light on one of the directions I am pursuing actively: I have taken over the collaboration with the companies that made a pledge to support Drupal CMS either financially or by contributing time and talent. My goal is to learn which directions or tracks are of interest to the partners and to make sure they will get all the necessary details to make an informed decision on the type of contribution. However, my work doesn’t end with matching the goals of the project with ambitions of the partners: I am being there along the way in order to help with operational challenges and to ensure successful delivery of the milestones we agreed upon.
