What comes to mind when I say Top Trumps? For me, it's Christmas morning finding a brand new 'Baby Animals' pack waiting for me in my stocking. Recently, I just finished working with Winning Moves UK Ltd to help bring Top Trumps back to the future. With an already strong and loyal fan base, it was a case of reaching new audiences and entertaining existing ones. I focused on community management, spotting reactive opportunities to inject the brand. In our time together I: 🦁 Spotted a content opportunity with Grace Beverley who was a big fan of our Top Trump vending machines at Heathrow Airport. 🦁 Completely revamped and optimised the Instagram page; new highlights covers, Story activations and tone of voice (the lot!). 🦁 Donated a box of games to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity in the name of one of our superfans. 🦁 Maximised cultural moments such as Valentines' Day to bring Top Trumps online. It's moments like this where brands trust me to run with their accounts that I really get to flex my creative skills. Which is your fav pack? #contentmarketing #socialmediamarketing #brandidentity #casestudy #communitymanagement

Businesses we need your support
Businesses and individuals we NEED your support. This September brings our 2nd Year in a Day event where we provide up to 25 critically ill children and their families with a weekend jam packed with a years worth of celebrations. With parties and presents, treats and endless fun, your sponsorship goes a long way to create life-long treasured memories for families going through incredibly tough times. Last year was incredible, emotional and unbelievablely magical. Do something amazing and sponsor a season, give our children a "bonus year", and sadly, you could even be giving some of our beneficiaries their last Christmas or Easter, Summer or Halloween celebration with their family. If you are interested in sponsoring one of these seasons, we contact Trustee Amy for more information at amy@emmettsgenies.co.uk

The crazy season that is November and Christmas has well and truly kicked off... Last week saw the News on the Block awards (congrats to Nik Trevillion and Vikki Morlang) and it was great to see over 1,000 people attending celebrating an industry that I have been in for over 20 years and does, despite suggestions otherwise, (as several others including Jamie Willsdon eloquent post already said) contain multitudes of people that care and strive in difficult circumstances to provide an amazing service. Next then came the first real storm of the season this weekend and a brutal one it was for us with an uplift of over 90% on normal volumes. 67 leaks alone on Saturday before 1pm. Up this week is a major client visiting us here at Ireland head office this week followed by another visit to London and The Negotiator Awards and Expo on Friday, come see us at our stand and/or at the evenings festivities. Also on the future schedule is our Christmas celebrations at the NEC in Birmingham and finally PROPARTY Official where we are a sponsor at Antony Jones and Colin Horton industry Xmas extravaganza (there may be a few tickets left if you don't want to miss out) Then our busiest and toughest professional part of the year, our 12 Days of Christmas where around 70% of our clients close for the holidays and we are responsible for over half a million properties for 12 consecutive days (and over a million for all the weekend and Bank Holiday days). As always keep a watch out for our Christmas charity competition launched next month. Think that about covers it for now. #propertymanagement #propertymaintenance #ooh

A few alternatives to potlucks this holiday season: A price-capped gift exchange, like a "Holiday Exchange of Joy" with a $20 limit. Host a dessert bar or hot cocoa station, providing a variety of sweet treats and warm drinks. Provide small, personalized gifts for each employee, like a handwritten thank-you note. Host a game or trivia night with prizes to bring everyone together in a fun, casual way. Set up a photo booth with holiday props for team members to have some fun and create memories and post them to your business' social media accounts! Organize a volunteer day or charity drive as a team to give back to the community. Provide a catered snack bar with a mix of savory and sweet items for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. Plan a team outing in the new year, such as bowling, a movie night, or a group dinner to kick off the year on a positive note. Skip the party this year and announce that you’re planning a bigger, better event next year, with a clear plan to make it happen. #ColleagueAppreciation #EmployeeAppreciation #SkipThePotluck #GetShitDoneGirl

I couldn’t do this on my own. When Nicole Mastrangelo and I first spoke about the idea of this event, she immediately had a bigger vision for it than I ever imagined (she’s pretty good at that). And I immediately knew I’d need help to pull it off. I am absolutely blown away by the amount of support that I’m receiving for this event. And not just for me. But also to make an impact for Children's Harbor, Inc. The vast majority of the sponsorship funds are going directly to Children’s Harbor, helping to make an impact in the lives of foster children. Want to help make an impact with me? ✅ Just by attending, you’re helping. A portion of every ticket sold goes to Children’s Harbor. ✅ We have room for one or two more sponsors. The event is already paid for, so 100% of new sponsorships will go directly to Children’s Harbor! What to expect from this event? 👉 Learn from industry leaders Marc Nudelberg, Zack Toyota, and Nicole Mastrangelo about modern business development, LinkedIn strategy, and experience-driven business explosion 💥 👉 Networking with professionals from West Palm through Miami 👉 Everyone who buys a ticket will receive a signed copy of my book when it goes to print 👉 AND every attendee will have a chance to win a special prize (which I will announce soon!) Who’s gonna join me??? The Daily Drip Element of Change Palermo, Landsman & Ross, P.A. The Agency East On the Ball

I am not Exempt The amount of people that raise an eyebrow when they see me dressed as “Super Girl” for my promotion of my Kindess Coffee & Cookies (https://lnkd.in/ey5bg77G) is unreal. Like many businesses out there, we are struggling in terms of bringing in enough income and funding and although as a charity, all our income as you will know - Is for good - there is still much more work to be done. I don’t feel I have the right to be considered “exempt” for whatever role needs to fulfilled. I don’t think, just because I founded “Families Like Us ( www.familieslikeus.org.uk) or created the Kindness Brand that it is a good enough excuse, not to do what is required when times are tough or for example when we don’t have enough staff I want to show my team, lead by example, that if something is worth doing then you have to put yourself out there and get the job done. I want to teach my team that no matter what your job title is - we are all a team and we need to continue working as part of a team to ensure we are creating a positive impact at all times So, yes maybe not all CEO’s would be comfortable dressing up Supergirl, running orders, painting, unblocking toilets etc and thats their choice. But I didn’t set up Juniors or the Kindness Brand for it to be managed by anyone else. I didn’t enter the third sector thinking it would be easy. I choose to become a CEO and whatever that takes - it’s a role worth pursuing with my heart and soul. So to the CEO’s who raise their eyebrows at me - you don’t know what your missing! Being involved with every part of your business and team is a honour and I am incredibly lucky #lanarkshire #scotland #glasgow

What Are Unique Holiday Party Activities to Wow 120 Guests? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gDUPK2yU #HolidayPartyIdeas #PartyPlanning #CompanyEvents Hey everyone! 🎉 I’m diving into planning our company’s Halloween and Christmas parties this year and could really use your creativity! We usually get about 120 folks joining in, and while we’ve established some fun routines, I’m on the hunt for fresh and exciting activities to make this year's events truly unforgettable. Here’s a quick rundown of what we’ve done before: Delicious Lunches 🍽️ Employee Charity Donations for raffle tickets Photo Booths for snap-worthy moments 📸 Cookie Decorating (in previous years) 🍪 Costume Contest (only for Halloween) 🎭 In the past, we’ve set up carnival games where people could win raffle tickets, but I’m looking to switch things up and replace that with something new and engaging. Ideally, the activity should span about one hour. Here’s what I’m hoping for: Fun and Engaging - Something that brings out everyone's inner child! 🌟 Low-Effort to Manage - I’d prefer ideas that don’t require a ton of prep. 🙌 Fairly Inexpensive - Let’s keep it budget-friendly! 💰 Could Replace the Ca...
