Doctors' Health Advisory Service WA’s Post

Today is International Men’s Day. Many of our doctors who identify as male find it challenging to be seen as vulnerable and feel that they should be able to manage their own health. However there is strength in reaching out for help and preventatively managing your own well-being. Everyone needs support and the confidential, independent and holistic care of a GP. Having an established relationship with a trusted GP is valuable. Even just one preventative visit is a great way to prioritise your health so that you can continue to practice medicine and be there for your loved ones in the future. The DHASWA Drs for Drs list can help you get started, and our DHASWA 24/7 advice line is always here for support if you have any concerns. Don’t hesitate to reach out to those around you. Maximise your well-being and burnout prevention by considering exercise with friends, catch up coffee dates, or dinner to debrief and share, and look after yourself too. Happy International Men’s Day to our doctors and medical students 💙🧡 #InternationalMensDay #MensHealth #HealthAwareness #MensWellbeing #MentalHealthMatters #PhysicalHealth #MensHealthTips #GPAdvice #HealthSupport #PreventativeCare #HealthyMen #MensFitness #WellbeingWarrior #HealthCheck #LiveWell #ManUpForHealth #GetChecked #MensHealthMonth #DoctorAdvice #HealthJourney #StayHealthy #MenCareToo #GPMatters #HealthForLife #WellnessJourney #HealthyChoices
