Being a salesperson in a remote setting has its benefits: flexible hours, a warm home office, avoiding daily traffic and spending time with my cats. But as an extrovert, I sometimes miss the office's energy, the chats, team lunches, and brainstorming sessions. So, how do extroverts stay connected while WFH? here are a few tips that have worked for me so far: - Schedule virtual coffee breaks and catch-up chats and block time on calendars for informal chats. - Embrace video calls, Turn on your camera for meetings, even quick check-ins. Seeing faces adds a personal touch and fosters a sense of connection. - Consider a co-working space. It could be a great way to change up your scenery, network with other professionals and get a social fix. What are your best tips for staying connected while working remotely? #remotework #sales #extroverts #teamwork #connections #wellbeing #coworking

Remote work is AMAZING, but... Remote work has opened up a world of flexibility, efficiency, and work-life balance. 🌍✨ We’ve mastered the art of Zoom meetings, virtual collaborations, and have even perfected the home office setup. However, there’s something irreplaceable about face-to-face interactions. Whether it’s the spontaneous brainstorming sessions, the energy of team huddles, or just sharing a coffee break, being together can spark creativity and build stronger connections. This week, I had the opportunity to have our whole team together for a few hours. The interactions, smiles, and connections were absolutely invigorating. It reminded me of the magic that happens when we come together in person. So while remote work is here to stay (thank goodness), let’s cherish those moments when we can all come together, even if just once in a while. #RemoteWork #TeamCollaboration #OfficeLife #Balance

The remote work revolution has hit a new phase. 🔄 We are seeing a tug-of-war play out - candidates often look for roles with flexibility 🏡, while many businesses are longing for filled office chairs. 🏢 Why the switch back? Is it the magic of real-time collaboration that's missed? Perhaps it's the ease of managing teams when you can simply swivel your chair for a quick chat. Or could it be the culture and camaraderie that's only brewed in the office kitchen? Here's the real talk: Companies are pulling teams back to the office, but what's the main driver? Let's dissect it. a) Is it about brainstorming sessions that just don't zing on Zoom? b) Maybe it's the monitoring muscle - keeping an eye on productivity? c) Or is it the watercooler moments that spark unity? 🤝 Sound off below - we want your take! 🗣️ #WorkplaceTrends #OfficeCulture #RemoteWork

There is so much debate about whether working remotely or in an office is better. Instead of arguing about it, can’t we just agree that: The office is better for collaboration and socialising with colleagues 👍 Remote is better for focused work and fitting around your personal life and commitments. 👍 No-one is right or wrong for preferring one over the other either! Or have I missed something? 🤔 #remoteworking #flexibleworking

Virtual meeting bloopers: The perks of remote work Ah, the adventures of remote work! Who hasn’t passionately delivered a brilliant point in a meeting, only to be met with silent stares and the classic, “You’re on mute”? Let’s chuckle over some classic virtual meeting mishaps: 1. The mute monologue: Pouring your heart and soul out while everyone watches your silent movie performance. 🔇 2. The Surprise guest star: When your toddler or pet decides it’s their meeting now. 🐕 3. The accidental screen share: Oops! Didn’t mean to show everyone your online shopping cart or chat window with the latest “tea you just spilled” with your colleague. 😳 4. The background blunder: That moment your virtual beach background fails, revealing the pile of laundry behind you. 🧺 5. The filter fiasco: Turning yourself into a potato or a cat - and not knowing how to turn it off. Remember the lawyer who insisted, “I’m not a cat”? 🙀 Embracing these moments adds a bit of humor to our workdays. After all, we’re all just one unmuted sneeze away from a memorable meeting! #remotework #virtualmeeting #workplaceculture #employee #business #company

Question I am asked on Linkedin: What's your biggest challenge when working remotely? a) Time Management b) Communication Breakdown c) Distraction at Home Me: None actually. Working remotely majorly from home with clients since 2012. Here are my 5 takeaways! 1) Dedicate a room and declare it as your office space. 2) Use a table and chair for work instead of a sofa or bed. 3) Allocate specific working hours, and ensure that people avoid loud TV, radio, or conversations during this time. 4) Refrain from "casual gossips on phone" sessions during working hours; save them for lunch or tea breaks. 5) Most importantly, convey to people at home that you are working and request their respect for your workspace. hashtag #contentcreator hashtag #workingremotely hashtag #socialmediamanagement #copied
