After years of remote work, this week I've spent spend five days working in the office and what an invigorating experience it was! The chance to engage in multiple interactions with colleagues, have countless conversations, and glean insights from face-to-face interactions has been invaluable. There's just something about the energy of being surrounded by like-minded individuals that fuels creativity and collaboration in ways that virtual communication simply can't replicate. Throughout the week, I've found that being in the office has facilitated smoother communication, enhanced teamwork, and provided fertile ground for new ideas to flourish. From spontaneous brainstorming sessions to impromptu coffee chats, the exchange of ideas has been constant, leading to tangible progress on various projects. Still I need to re-learn how to maxime benefits, how to schedule back2back meetings only during WFH days, how to keep calendar open for more in person interactions.
