2024: A Year of Experiences, Learnings and Gratitude. As we step into 2025, I had taken a moment to look back 2024, a year filled with challenges, valuable lessons, and personal growth. One of my strongest takeaways this year was the power of resilience. There were moments when setbacks looked unavoidable, but embracing change and staying adaptable helped me overcome challenges and grab the experiences and learning for my next steps. Another key lesson was the power of collaboration. I experienced how much more we can achieve and learn when we unite, share insights, and uplift one another. The first step is often to open up, discuss, ask for help, share your experiences, embrace the differences. These lessons have been equally relevant in personal life, especially  when raising a teen in this ever evolving technology time. Rather its new lesson each day :) As we just moved into 2025, looking forward to apply these lessons: staying resilient, collaborating, reaching my small goals and continuing to evolve both personally and professionally. A heartful thank you to everyone who has supported me directly or indirectly in 2024. Wishing you all a prosperous and fulfilling 2025. New Year, time to write a new chapter…

Yep, still love marking. I must do, to spend this glorious Northern Beaches day indoors 😊. Here are some of the topics on the reading list today: - An analysis of “lying flat” through the lens of self-determination theory. - Pairing intuition with data-driven approaches to improve lawyer decision-making in complexity. - I would not have seen it if I did not believe it: critically analysing the implications of confirmation bias in lawyer decision-making. - The importance of leader emotional agility as an enabler of effective performance dialogue. - Psychological safety and in-house lawyering; is there room? - A critique of the Cynefin framework: complexity of concepts and language cause challenges in practice. - The role of psychological safety in employee voice and silence in a law firm. - Psychological safety, collaboration and performance in the human complexity of a global mining company. Interestingly, nobody in this class seems to have taken me up on my standing invitation to use their essay to critically analyse LLE through the lens of intersectionality. Thank you to all the wonderful professionals from around the world who have chosen to do LLE with me so far. It has been a joy to work with you.

They love to get me to sit and talk! So that I did! 💜 I share my favorite moments, what keeps me going, my strategy in developing my team and my response to the ever popular question: what advice would you give to someone wanting to get into the event industry. This year has been nothing short of a major blessing - the yeses, the nos, the not quite yet. The successes, the fail forwards. The anxiety inducing moments, the overwhelmingly joyous moments that brought tears. I won’t trade any of it! I even had my most “viral” post on LinkedIn this year, still 🤯 about that! Speaking your truth has value. Holding your boundaries has value. Knowing who you are has value. Honouring who is responsible for it all brings more value! 🙏🏾 Thank you to everyone who has left a comment, shared my posts, shared their feedback when we met up in person and very importantly, those who invested in my services. 😃 Things are baking at TCJ Events and I can’t wait to share. For 2025, I wish you everything you wish for yourself and then some (in case those dreams are too small! 😊) Love and light! 💜

I would like to say thank you to everyone at SANY AMERICA who has played a vital role in building and sustaining our Attachment Project at the ECDC. Being chosen to work on this project by a colleague has truly shown me what a mentor really is. When he talked, I listened and paid close attention and vice versa. He knows engineering and systems and I know how to manage people and implement processes. Our talent isn’t what made this project so successful, it was our respect and trust amongst one another for what we knew individually that made this project flourish. One thing, there was a slight language barrier and a few cultural differences. We identified this early on to be the key building block to our future success. Not understanding each other and knowing it made the job fun. We talked about family, music, travel, work, but the best life lesson was being introduced to the stoic philosophy. Stoic is a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining. If you want to be happy, have zero expectations. Don’t try to change others. Change how u deal with them. Most importantly if it makes sense, DO IT!!

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 I'm thrilled to share that I have achieved the rank of "Masters" in League of Legends! 🌟 This rank places me among the top 0.5% of the player base within North America. This journey has been filled with countless hours of practice, jumping up and down the ranks, and learning the ever changing tactics during each patch. It's a testament to the dedication and passion I have for the game. Through this journey I have learned a ton of valuable skills that can be applied beyond the realm of gaming but to real world professional settings. Such as: 1. Team work and Communication 💬 - Having to work as a team effectively is crucial to overcoming obstacles and to achieve a common goal + Understanding and fulfilling your own roles within the team. - Learning to communicate effectively to ensure mistakes are minimized. 2. Adapting to changing environments 🌎 - Being flexible and responsive to the changes that are currently happening. 3. Strong mental fortitude 🧠 - Developing resilience and inner strength to enable myself to endure tough challenges while focusing on the goal. 4. Quick decision making ⚡ - Being able to make swift decisions in a fast-paced and stressful environment. 5. Enjoying the process 😊 - This is best explained by a quote that I have recently learned by Lao Tzu who once said "One who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination". - Embrace and enjoying the journey, the learning, and the process just as much as the end goal. Despite now reaching masters, I hope to pursue higher ranks while continuously learning and honing my skills. While some of you may see this as a joke, this game has really been helpful in developing some skills that I apply in real life scenarios as I mentioned above and some I have yet mentioned. Especially being able to think quick and be adaptive, creatively achieving my goals, and pursuing an objective while enjoying the entire process of it and not just the end goal. 🌟 "Man cannot discover new oceans until he finds the courage to lose sight of the shore" Andre Gide I preferred to focus on personal development and achieving my goals in silence and without an audience. I am hard-working and persistent in pursuing my goals and objectives, but I prefer to keep it to myself. However, I realized that sharing my professional experiences and what I am an expert in can add value to current and future business partners. Building lasting business relationships is important to me, and I base my activities on them. Yesterday, at a workshop with Marcin Banaszkiewicz, I gained valuable insights on building my personal brand on LinkedIn. Never before have I attended a training where knowledge and humor intertwined so naturally, and after which the only thing I felt was unsatisfied, not tired and bored. Marcin Banaszkiewicz, thank you for opening my mind to new possibilities. With a head full of ideas and thoughts, I am ready to create content. 🔥 What is the Role of Passion in Career Success? 💪 I see passion like a fire. The more firewood I add to it, the stronger it gets. This fire is what carries me through the tough times and hurdles, and it's what gives me energy at work. This is why I see the value in making my passion my career; because that fire will help me succeed and stick through the hardships.
