As 2024 draws to a close, I can hardly believe it's already been more than a year since LBH Group joined Rhenus Logistics, and let’s be honest: integrating an organization is no walk in the park. It’s more like tackling a mountain climb: there are moments of effort, unexpected twists, and yes, the occasional sore muscles. But reaching new heights together? That makes it all worth it. 🧗♂️ Looking back, this year 2024 hasn’t just been about systems and strategies – it’s been about people. I’ve had the chance to meet so many incredible colleagues from LBH, each bringing their own perspective, passion, and expertise. What stands out the most? This isn’t just a team: it’s a community. And over the past 12 months, I’ve found myself feeling more and more a part of it. What’s stood out in our first year is the measurable progress we’ve made: 👉 Core integrations in areas like finance and IT? Check. 👉 First collaboration fields? Started. 👉 Bigger synergy potential? Absolutely. But here‘s the thing: Even more important than building synergies, however, is to build on LBH's existing success in the individual markets and to let the company shine even brighter. Although trade flows are changing, LBH has a global presence and transparency that we can exploit even better. The basis for further organic growth of the LBH Group will be to continue to drive forward internal connection and networking. Success isn’t just about merging; it’s about elevating. Now, let’s not sugarcoat it.
