I enjoy transformations as much as the next person 😉 Having been through my fair share of them in my career, I can confidently say that the most successful ones had one thing in common—stellar Change Management.
All the Change Practitioners I’ve had the pleasure of working with were masters at making people feel comfortable about the ‘uncomfortable,’ such as new systems, processes, or ways of working.
So, if you’re planning to embark on a transformation—or an initiative akin to one—in 2025, make sure you, your team, and your organization are ready. This means having the right capabilities, tools, resources, and, of course, the mindset in place and ready to go.
How❓
✅ Step 1: Complete our 2-minute online pulse check (follow the link in the below post).
✅ Step 2: Talk to one of my colleagues—seasoned Change Management Practitioners across four states.
✅ Step 3: Let’s work together to get your transformation off to a great start.
👉 On a side note: Check out the conversational tone used to construct the questions for the assessment. I know I have Content Writers and Designers in my network who might appreciate it.

As individuals we often don't pay conscious attention to our positive and less helpful habits, patterns of behaviours and ways of doing things. The same goes for organisations that are unaware of how ingrained ways of working, pervasive attitudes and organisational systems may be impacting the success of transformation initiatives or other organisational changes.
Seeking an outside perspective, someone to ask the "why is it done that way" question is a great starting place to build a change fit organisation

I can honestly and wholeheartedly say this was one of THE most inspiring sessions I've ever been to! 💡 🧠
When was the last time you described someone as 'Difficult'? One of the opening lines from Karen Turton at yesterdays Generational workshop by Purple Story (The Home of Operational Excellence).
The message: Our current multigenerational workforce have the biggest differentiating behaviours, values and expectations than ever before.
The action: Learning to understand each generation and what they need to thrive in the workplace.
The outcome: Future proofing your business through high performance.
We learned about a variety of models and theory that underpin high performance and leadership, which was used as a stepping stone to then understand the insights delivered about each generation in the current workforce. Whilst it was humbling and eye-opening, it was hilarious to look in the mirror and recognise family and colleagues as Karen walked us from Traditionalists right the way through to Gen Alpha describing behaviour traits, triggers and needs.
I actually can't go into any more detail without spoiling it, so what I will say is, you NEED to be doing this work to prepare yourselves for the inevitable change we're going to encounter in our careers.
Just reach out to Purple Story and book a session with Karen, possibly one of the most worthwhile investments in your 2025 budget you can make ,trust me.

Boom! First proposal of the year delivered!
It's always awesome to have proposals to deliver so early in a new year and the fact that it's focused on #DEIB and effecting transformation in an organisation so that individuals and teams can thrive, makes it even more exciting.
When we don't have #belonging, we can't have engagement. When we don't have #engagement, we will never access our people's discretionary effort. Investing in building common language, better communication skills and a deeper appreciation of each person's uniqueness is good for people and for business.

Balancing operational and strategic-level objectives is a challenge for all organizational levels.
A well-defined long-term goal will not guarantee that your daily problem-solving activities are aligned with the future success you seek to achieve, but it will bring clarity when it comes to reevaluating: Where are we? Where do we want to go? Are we on the right path to achieving the desired future?
It's a continuous process. Rethinking can never stop. Take 10 steps forward and stop to reevaluate. Need to take a step back? Let's do it. Fix it and keep it going.
PS: No, it does not only apply to high-level positions. Regardless of our role, we can and should use these principles to achieve our long-term goal at work, in our careers AND in LIFE! Good luck for all of us !
