***WRONG*** This would work if there was one element not missing. The availability of "commercial flights". Once Isreal came under siege by terrorists, carriers STOPPED/LIMITED flights into Tel Aviv on their OWN. Because all targets are fair game for terrorists. Meanwhile, there were literally hundreds of thousands of other foreign nationals (tourists) in Isreal all trying to get out of the same airport all at the same time, with the backdrop of reduced flights. Lebanon is TOTALLY different. First it lacks the tourism numbers (as an unstable country with most western nations having a travel advisory in place) than Isreal has, particularly for USPERS. But most importantly, Israel is NOT bombing airports or anywhere close to those areas and carriers are still flying into and out of Beruit (limited, but still available). Which means there should be less hardships for any USPERS who are there and want to get out. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. When it becomes IMPOSSIBLE, that's when the US State Department steps in and charters flights. Just like they they did in the aftermath of Oct 7th when USPERS were trapped in country. Now is the US racist? ABSOLUTELY. Just not in this instance. I wouldn't call this misinformation, he is simply misinformed, or misinterpreting the situation. But of course if one's own cognitive bias wants them to believe this, they will not see the facts or listen to reason.
