If our American Founding Fathers wanted an all-White country, they should have stayed in Europe. Instead they colonized a thriving territory, killed most of the Natives, went in to kidnap Black bodies from Africa, and took entire territories in the South West full of Spanish-speaking Mexicans — then descendents have the audacity to ask why America isn’t White. Civil Rights and Social Justice is a restorative approach to remedying consequences of historic legal discrimination and violence against groups. They’re not hand-outs or unConstituonal. The Constitution was never meant to be fixed but transformed as guidance towards a more perfect union. We can’t change our past but we can create trauma-informed policy to heal the nation from historical conflict. Ignoring the consequences of our ancestors’ actions only further degrades our American experience and distances national unity. We don’t have to be blind to race just respectful to it.
The effects of racism on marginalized communities is deadly. The effects of being called a racist is not. Stop acting like it is.

Like abelism. If any organisation of any type is unable to cater for all people in its culture, practices and service, how do you think it will survive and thrive in a rapidly changing world? People with disability and those who represent other diversity are your greatest strength now. If your organisation is unable to accommodate all people now, what is your capacity in an ever changing wolrd. Non sustainable or inclusive healthy ecosystems affect us all. Our social infastructure is a vital part of our social-ecologies. Difference is imperative for evolution. We all know what is the result when evolution thawted. Inclusivity in healthy social ecology is vital for the survivial and longevity of all entities and their contribution to our world. Make sure your organisation isn't falling behind or unable to show evolotionary capacity for adaptation now.

What can we do to fight racism and become a better ally? Below are some ways. For me, initially, the most important part is to educate oneself by reading about racism in general, the history of one's country and the world, and topics such as colonization. Another way is to follow accounts on social media that talk and educate people about racism. Then we can spot overt and covert racism better and stand up against it #antiracism

***WRONG*** This would work if there was one element not missing. The availability of "commercial flights". Once Isreal came under siege by terrorists, carriers STOPPED/LIMITED flights into Tel Aviv on their OWN. Because all targets are fair game for terrorists. Meanwhile, there were literally hundreds of thousands of other foreign nationals (tourists) in Isreal all trying to get out of the same airport all at the same time, with the backdrop of reduced flights. Lebanon is TOTALLY different. First it lacks the tourism numbers (as an unstable country with most western nations having a travel advisory in place) than Isreal has, particularly for USPERS. But most importantly, Israel is NOT bombing airports or anywhere close to those areas and carriers are still flying into and out of Beruit (limited, but still available). Which means there should be less hardships for any USPERS who are there and want to get out. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's not IMPOSSIBLE. When it becomes IMPOSSIBLE, that's when the US State Department steps in and charters flights. Just like they they did in the aftermath of Oct 7th when USPERS were trapped in country. Now is the US racist? ABSOLUTELY. Just not in this instance. I wouldn't call this misinformation, he is simply misinformed, or misinterpreting the situation. But of course if one's own cognitive bias wants them to believe this, they will not see the facts or listen to reason.
