May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, which is a perfect time to share some beliefs we hold close at Leiya: 🌱 All children deserve a chance to thrive. 🌞 Mental health care is a proactive investment in a child’s future and in a healthier, happier world for all. Our founders, Stephanie Uhl and Meghan Luby, met in grad school for Clinical Psychology and went into private practice together after graduating and working in a variety of settings. So they know well the importance of early intervention. The longer it takes for kids to access the mental health care they need, the harder it is for them to make progress and reach the best possible treatment outcomes. Meghan and Stephanie also saw firsthand how families struggled to get off waitlists and into the high-quality, multidisciplinary treatment they needed. Leiya was born from their belief that there is a better way for families to get the mental health care they need when they need it – and that the future depends on it. Follow along as we post more about #MentalHealth and how Leiya is #DoingBetter. #MHAM2024 #MentalHealthMonth #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthSupport #MentalHealthMatters #ChildMentalHealthMatters #EarlyIntervention #PreventativeCare #InvestInTheFuture #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealthMonth #MentalHealth #EmotionalWellness #SelfCare #TakeAMoment #Leiya

International Boy Child Day, observed on May 16, highlights the importance of addressing the specific needs and challenges faced by boys and young men. It emphasizes the need to promote their health, education, and emotional well-being, recognizing that boys can face issues like mental health struggles, limited access to supportive services, and societal pressures. The day is significant because it brings attention to these challenges and advocates for more resources and support to help boys thrive. By focusing on their needs, we work towards creating a more equitable and supportive environment that benefits everyone in society. #JuvenHealthAfrica #Aolescent&YouthHealth
