A year ago, I took a big risk and joined Thena as a 23 year old with no real job description except "figuring things out" for Mike Molinet. ⏩ Fast forward to 2024, and I'm now 24 but feel 50 (jokes jokes). In all seriousness though, there was no right way for me to prepare for a job like this. That's why I'm starting a weekly series to share what it's ACTUALLY like working in early stage tech as a young 20 something. It won't be a blueprint, in fact it'll be more along the lines of chaotic personal rants that somehow tell a story... but I'm hoping these stories can shed some light on what this path is actually like for those looking to do the same. Couple things I'll explore along the way ⬇ - What to do when you don't know what to do - Why you must continue networking outside of your office - Work/life balance (hah) - Big risks are necessary for big rewards And much more 👀 Going to kick this off next week and probably reach out to a dozen of you in my network for some ideas, but I hope this ends up being helpful for those young bucks out there thinking about a similar journey.
