After a few days off work this last week, i walked back into the office and was greeted by a bright clean area that the team have clearly taken pride in and are maintaining to a good standard. This is driven by the leadership team of Sam Juffs Milly Boyle Aaron Hoskins working closely with the colleagues and sharing our expectations both in all areas of the operation. Those that know me, will admit that i'm a sucker for a good motivation quote, so imagine how i felt when i saw that Sam Juffs had added his own to the canteen wall. He's like our very own Ted Lasso. Here at Wonderpack.eco standards serve as the foundation for our operation, guiding us in our quest for quality, efficiency, and transparency. Whilst we acknowledge we're not the finished article, the team are working hard each day to make those little changes that will improve not only the area we all work but the experiance we give our clients. 1. **Consistency**: Standards ensure that everyone is on the same page, leading to uniformity in processes and outputs. This consistency fosters trust among team members and clients alike. 2. **Quality Control**: By setting benchmarks, we can monitor and improve the quality of our work, minimizing errors and enhancing satisfaction. 3. **Employee Engagement**: Clear standards empower employees, giving them a sense of direction and purpose. 🎯 "When your booth is so iconic, it doesn't even need humans!" 🎯 Last month at the SHRM event, I stumbled upon the Coca-Cola booth. But wait… where was the Coke? And where were the people? 🤔 Just two fridges stocked with water bottles – a self-serve experience, maybe? Or perhaps Coca-Cola is pioneering the 'ghost booth' concept, where products magically sell themselves? A few passersby even asked, "Is this a bottled water company using Coke’s coolers?" 😅 Without a rep in sight to clarify, it almost felt like a modern art installation titled “What’s the Strategy?” Now, here’s the million-dollar question – what was Coca-Cola’s goal here? Brand awareness, hydration for thirsty HR professionals 🤷♂️, or did the crowd simply drink up every last drop of Coke faster than they could restock? 😆 Most companies at the event calculated ROI in terms of leads and interactions. But Coca-Cola’s silent strategy left everyone guessing. Genius move? Or just missed opportunities?
