Human Resources specialists at both large and small firms tell me it’s hard to convince executives to work with a coach because “they don’t think they have a problem”. That means the firm must communicate coaching differently. - It is one thing to present coaching as a fix to a performance, or worse still, an “attitude” problem. - It’s another to offer coaching as support to ascend to the next level of performance or executive presence. The very word “coaching” comes from sports. Think about it: what do sports coaches do? Their focus isn’t “fixing problems”. Leaders earmarked for coaching are the select few in need of a boost to reach levels that can be quite ambitious. Reach out for advice or coaching for top East-West executives.

Hello network! I'm looking to connect with more folks to offer no-cost, virtual coaching sessions. What is coaching, why is coaching valuable, and why am I offering these for free? All great questions, for which I have answers for you! ➡ What is coaching? I love this short, animated video from ICF Houston Coaches that I've added to the comments below. ➡ Why is coaching valuable? Coaching can focus on any topic that may be giving you resistance, feeling like a wall you can't get around, or an area you're wanting to grow. You may be a leader, an employee, and/or an entrepreneur. You're the driver on where you want to go; I'm your co-pilot in bringing clarity in support of getting you there. ➡ These are at no cost to you as I'm working towards my International Coaching Federation Accredited Coach Training Program at UBC and the number of coaching hours required to meet the goal of Associate Certified Coach. I bring my decade of HR experience and leading organizations through their EDI journey to coaching, in service of my clients. Bringing clarity for my clients to reach an "a-ha!" moment is what gives me joy. If this resonates with you and you'd like to explore further, please reach out! I would love to hear what clarity you're searching for and to learn how I can support you. #coaching

Hello everyone! I’m pleased to inform my circle of friends and colleagues on LinkedIn that I’m in the process of receiving a new professional designation: as a Certified Professional Integrative Coach. This is with respect to… starting with my new company, GameChangersWorld, LLC. I’m in the process of offering sessions now. I am required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of pro-bono and paid coaching hours. (actually, I've leapt past that goal and I'm onwards to 75 hours of coaching hours!) If you are interested: here's how we can work together: ✦ Let’s schedule one hour together >>https://shorturl.at/uN8ke ✦ We will start with the SPIN Questionnairre (attached) to create space to hear you... to process you. ✦ Remember, you are the center in coaching, and we believe you have the power to solve: you simply need a great coach to help! Also, if you know someone who may benefit from coaching, goal-setting or other support, I can “gift them” a free session on your behalf. Regardless, thank you for your support as I move into the coaching field! Ok, it's time to fire your coaching self. Most of us were trained to help clients build a "better self" - better habits, mindset, leadership presence... That's making things much harder than they need to be. • We're trying to be the perfect coach-self • While helping clients become their best self • All while "staying present" and "holding space" It's exhausting because we're coaching a constructed client-self as another constructed coach-self. A mental construct coaching another construct. 🤯 Self-less coaching climbs above self-preoccupation to see what's really possible in coaching when the self is out of the way. You don't need to be anything special for this. It's already available to anyone willing to explore it. The next evolution in coaching isn't a new method. It's seeing through the self that's making coaching so much harder than it needs to be. Since self-less coaching is already available, we don't teach it at NDLCA. We share in finding out what this means to the unique you, for your practice. And we do it as peers. Want to try out a member session with us to see if it's for you? Visit ndlca .com / join us.

Morning, Most leaders who engage professional coaches in their businesses are unsure what coaching does. Karen was a young competent professional client of mine. Karen spells out how the investment by her boss engaged and activated her intrinsically. "The executive coaching package has been invaluable to me. It has helped me to focus on key areas for development and helped me to achieve huge steps forward in the areas where I was previously lacking in confidence. The fact that it has been coaching, rather than simply advice, has put enough pressure on me to take bold steps and be courageous. The Strengths Based Finder tool was really useful and I have embraced some of the small but significant suggestions around people relationships. Above all I have learnt to “Just Fly”, which sounds simple, but is hugely cathartic and liberating." Are you a boss you who wants to unlock and support your peoples development? We should talk, DM me for a chat.

Is Coaching Your Next Big Step? Here's How to Begin Your Journey Starting a coaching career can be incredibly rewarding, but it requires deliberate and thoughtful steps. Here's how you can make it happen, with a glimpse into my own journey: 1️⃣ Define Your Niche What fuels your passion—leadership, career transitions, wellness, or relationships? Finding your focus helps you reach the right audience. I began with career coaching and later pivoted to leadership coaching, finding my stride as I honed my craft. 2️⃣ Get Certified Accredited programs like ICF provide the foundation for coaching skills and credibility. I took a slow but steady approach, completing my ICF certifications and 500+ hours of coaching over two years. 3️⃣ Start Within Your Network Offer free or low-cost sessions to friends or colleagues to gain experience and collect testimonials. My biggest thanks go to the colleagues and team members who trusted me to guide them through their challenges—it was invaluable. 4️⃣ Build Your Brand Share your voice online, create content, and be authentic about who you are and what you offer. For me, my podcast has been both a creative outlet and a way to connect meaningfully with others. 5️⃣ Never Stop Growing Coaching is a continuous learning process. Stay curious and open to feedback. I’m now learning from greats like Brené Brown, Jim Collins, and Marshall Goldsmith to deepen my understanding and skills. Coaching isn’t just a career—it’s a way to help others unlock their potential. I’ve been fortunate to share this journey through my podcast, Transition Story, where guests like Lila Andrea Chaudhuri, MGSCC, ICF-PCC Advance Hogan Assessment, Coaching Across Cultures have shared valuable insights about growth and transformation. The first step is often the hardest, but it can also be the most transformative—for you and those you coach. Thinking about starting your own coaching journey? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👇 #CoachingJourney #LeadershipDevelopment #CareerGrowth #TransitionStory

Isn't it time we levelled up coaching? Yes, coaching is a wonderful tool to drive inspiration, self-reflection, and action; but I believe that coaching can and should be more than this. I believe coaching should: ⭐ Drive greater awareness about emotional intelligence ⭐ Help people to pay-it-forward to their teams and families ⭐ Use this understanding to reduce conflict in society as their engagement with it changes. In this way, coaching is a great business tool, wellbeing, but can also be a critical pillar of your ESG strategy. Thinking is universal but it is the content of our thinking that differs. When we truly understand this, and that people do the best they can with the thinking that looks really to them, then we can maintain compassionate when working with others. If you run coaching programmes and want to add some truly transformational philosophies, then get in touch to learn more. After all, the feedback for our Business Reimagined coaching speaks for itself: 🙏 "I am a better leader. I am a better Parent. I am a better human." 🙏 Mid-Level HR Manager, Financial Services #coaching #socialgoals #esg
