Furthermore, it weighs less than the former version. 👉However, the proven functional principle remains the same: The exclusive use of the natural refrigerants CO2 (R744) and propene (R1270) is unique in the heavy-duty commercial vehicle segment and particularly sustainable. They both have a negligible global warming potential and do not form environmentally harmful substances such as perfluoroalkoxy polymers (PFAS) when released into the atmosphere. 👉Thanks to the purely electric, locally almost emission- and CO2-free drive, the system produces neither local pollutant nor CO2 emissions when in battery operation, and up to 98 percent fewer emissions via the alternator drive compared to diesel-powered refrigeration. 👉Discover the ECOOLTEC #technology at the IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024: Hall 27, Stand A16 Outdoor area K43 and J44 #GoNatRefs #sustainability #innovation Thomas Rosenberger Juergen Suess Matthias Kiefer Ingo Kaltwasser Dale Cornes

1️⃣ No Need for Refrigeration: Unlike traditional methods, Dry Matrix Technology preserves biological samples at room temperature. This eliminates the need for constant refrigeration, drastically reducing energy consumption and associated carbon emissions. 2️⃣ Reduced Transportation Emissions: Dry samples are easier and more efficient to transport. Without the requirement for cold chain logistics (refrigerated trucks, cold storage at airports, etc.), the carbon emissions related to transportation are significantly lowered. 3️⃣ Less Dependence on Refrigerants: Traditional refrigeration systems often use harmful refrigerants that have high global warming potential (GWP). Dry Matrix Technology negates the need for these refrigerants, helping to reduce the release of potent greenhouse gases. 4️⃣ Lower Energy Use in Facilities: Healthcare facilities can save on energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint by minimizing the number of refrigeration units needed. This technology supports a more sustainable and energy-efficient infrastructure. . . . . #SustainableTechnology #GreenInnovation #CarbonReduction #EnergyEfficiency #ClimateAction #EcoFriendly #CleanTech #SustainableHealthcare #GreenLogistics #LowCarbon #EnvironmentalImpact #SustainableTransport #RenewableEnergy #GreenEnergy #GlobalWarmingSolutions #iotadiagnostic #iotabiosampler #mstrip

🌍 What is a Carbon Footprint? A carbon footprint measures the total amount of greenhouse gases, primarily carbon dioxide (CO₂), that are released into the atmosphere as a result of our actions. This footprint can come from everything we do, from the energy we use to power our homes, to the food we eat, to the way we travel. Each of these activities contributes to our individual and collective impact on the planet. 🌎 Here’s how our daily choices add to our carbon footprint: 💡Transportation: Cars, airplanes, and other vehicles release CO₂ when they burn fuel. Every mile driven adds to our carbon footprint. 🚗✈️ 💡Food Production: Meat production, especially beef, has a high carbon footprint due to land use and the resources needed to raise livestock. Plant-based foods usually have a lower impact. 🍽️🌱 💡Electricity & Heating: The energy we use in our homes, especially from non-renewable sources, contributes to CO₂ emissions. Switching to renewable energy can help lower this footprint. 🔌⚡ 💡Waste Management: When waste ends up in landfills, it produces methane, a greenhouse gas. Recycling and composting are great ways to reduce this impact. ♻️ Reducing our carbon footprint helps slow down climate change, protect ecosystems, and create a healthier planet for future generations. 🌍 How Big is Your Carbon Footprint?
