In August last year, I presented the paper that I developed with the SAG/ANP G&G team at the First EAGE Conference on Deepwater Equatorial Margin: New Energy Frontier for South America. It was an extremely important event for Brazil's current situation, showing the potential of our Equatorial Margin and how we can explore it responsibly so that we can have a safe energy transition. Clean Refineries, Inc. (CRI) has partnered with Permian Energy Partners, LLC to introduce its Net-Zero Emissions Technology (NZET) to the Permian Basin, aiming to build hydrocarbon processing plants that will address local processing shortages while maintaining net-zero emissions. The first facility, expected to be operational by 2026-2027, will process 20,000 barrels per day (BPD) with potential expansion to 100,000 BPD, marking a significant new refinery project in the U.S. CRI's NZET technology offers a smaller, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional hydrocarbon processing methods. https://lnkd.in/gBX3rwgX

O&G - Unconventional hydrocarbon reserves in various geological formations of Russia, a sleeping giant. Table 11 of the attached article presents an estimate of oil and gas reserves in various geological formations in Russia. The Bazhenov Formations in Western Siberia, the Domanik Formation, Timan-Pechora and Volga-Ural provinces, the Khadum and Maykop Formations in Ciscaucasia, and the Kuonam Formation in the Lena-Tunguska OGP, present enormous potential for unconventional hydrocarbons. In addition, there is considerable unextracted hydrocarbon potential in these formations, especially in the MK21-MK22-MK3 catagenesis zones. https://lnkd.in/dbffwxTX PS: Unconventional reserves, such as shale oil and gas, are trapped in low-permeability rock formations, requiring more complex and expensive extraction techniques than traditional methods.
