DREAM_PACE teams are thrilled to share insights from our recent project activities! 🌟 Our project partners gathered in #Budapest, Hungary, for the third transnational meeting and third steering committee meeting. Over these productive days, we delved into key updates and set the stage for future endeavors in Demand-Responsive Transportation (#DRT) services. Highlights from the meetings included: - Progress updates on our second living labs focusing on scenario development. - Briefings on upcoming deliverables and workshops aimed at co-designing DRT services. - Strategic planning for upcoming pilot initiatives. A special appreciation goes to BKK - Budapesti Közlekedési Központ (Budapesti Közlekedési Központ) for organizing an enlightening field trip, giving us firsthand experience of existing DRT lines in Budapest's suburban areas. 🚌💼 Exciting times lie ahead as we continue to innovate and collaborate! This two-day event, held on December 3rd and 4th, 2024, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to accelerate the green transition of Europe’s ports and airports. It was the opportunity to give stakeholders, the European Commission, and each other an update on what the projects have achieved so far & seeing how the projects can collaborate (even between ports and airports). It was also the conclusion of three years in the five projects. It allowed the audience to see what common challenges are faced by the five projects

Innovative solutions involving University students, tutors and industrial suppliers resulted in a great system that can help identify and control compressed air leaks of any size.

🌟 Exciting Milestone for KEYSTONE Project! 🌟 On December 2-3 in Athens, I represented RINA in KEYSTONE EU Project Workshop and Steering Committee meeting. 💡 The workshop was held focusing on the digitisation of transport and logistics in Europe, emphasizing the importance of synergies between EU initiatives, interoperability, and moving towards a paperless future in line with EC guidelines. The agenda included two engaging panels. The first focussed on challenges & opportunities in Federated Transport Networks, exploring key findings, stakeholder needs, and emerging opportunities. The second panel on stakeholders’ perspectives, with valuable contributions from the Athens road police, Volos port, and NAPs, who shared their insights on the projects' solutions and their alignment with real-world needs. The discussions culminated in a collaborative round table addressing critical topics such as stakeholder engagement, unmet needs, future challenges, and maximizing impact through actionable insights and innovative proposals. 🤝 The Steering Committee Meeting allowed to Work Package Leaders to present updates for all tasks and next steps expected for the forthcoming months. 🌐 During this session I had the opportunity to outline the progress made in the activity of evaluation of business cases based on the two pilots and the definition of related business models, sharing with the participant the roadmap prepared to reach the assigned task’s overall goals. 🙏 A special thanks to Zoe Petrakou and all the organizing team of  AETHON Engineering for coordinating the event and creating an inspiring environment for collaboration and exchange. This high-level gathering aims to pioneer discussions on the future of marine and maritime research and innovation, looking beyond 2025.
