Yesterday at this time we were Reconnecting on the Rooftop together with other associations, policy-makers and stakeholders! 😎 🤝 Many thanks for this collaboration to SolarPower Europe, European Heat Pump Association, AVERE - The European Association for Electromobility and EUROPEAN ALUMINIUM for this year's #RooftopREconnect Networking event. Inspiring interventions from the Institutions were also on the menu 👍: - Mechthild Wörsdörfer (DG ENER, European Commission), - Seán Kelly MEP - Thomas Pellerin-Carlin (MEP) - Benedetta Scuderi (MEP) Ilka von Dalwigk, in her speech called on the social dimension which is often not highlighted enough: a strong implementation of the #GreenDeal, together with the highly expected #CleanIndustrialDeal, will create value, investments and jobs in the EU. #Batteries are key enabler for the #energytransition, providing storage solutions for prosumers/households and power their EVs. Batteries are capable of providing grid services and are essential for the digital transformation. There is no #electrification without batteries. And, when batteries are made and recycled in Europe, they create value on the continent. Our industry's growth is not only essential for Europe's future but also for setting the standards for a more #sustainable and responsible #batteriesvaluechain globally. 🌿 🔋 🌍 💚
