It helps food service businesses to improve their planning and forecasting by producing the right amount of food and lowering food waste in the process🍽. 🔹 Action taken: as well as saving money, #Mitakus can also reduce stress, as the decision as to whether the food will be enough for everyone or whether more should be produced (and possibly wasted) becomes easier. 🔹 Key conclusion: the innovation uses historical sales data from different menu lines and then AI identifies patterns. And thanks to all of you who passed by the #Ipsos stand or saw our posters on Inno Explorer AI and Product Transfer! It has been a great pleasure indeed to meet you! Congratulations to Paula Varela Tomasco for winning a E3S "established researcher" award! Very well deserved Paula, and, allow me to say: I am proud of you! The conference provided a wealth of insights across various domains, this time focusing on cross-cultural aspects, with “Plant Based” and “Artificial Intelligence” being amongst the most popular topics. Having discussed AI with various participants, it becomes clear that this can become a hot topic for everyone in the future. Some are already deep in experimenting with it, writing pages of code to leverage it for generating meaningful learnings, others are just at the beginning, or haven’t even tried it out or are even afraid of it. I can only motivate you using AI if you have access to it, otherwise we will be happy leading you through this adventure to understand the many capabilities it has. Like this one: After I fed “Ipsos Facto” (our own AI) with a blur of LinkedIn posts of EuroSense, here is 5 of “their” key take aways: Enjoy! >> Here are some key takeaways and recommendations for businesses: 1. Plant-based and Alternative Proteins: Positive Drivers: Emphasize 'protein', 'health', and 'convenience' in your marketing strategies. Negative Drivers: Address concerns about 'bland products', 'high processing', and 'high price'. 2. Healthier Foods: Reducing Salt and Fat: Utilize spices to reduce salt and fat content effectively. Reducing Sugar: Explore experimental design approaches for sugar reduction and product optimization. 3. Food Waste: Consumer Behavior: Labelling alone has limited effect on reducing food waste. 4.
