Additionally, it makes long-distance transportation—whether by sea or rail—more practical and flexible. Andrea GATTO and Ivano Corsini. Prof. Ing. Ivano Corsini, President and CEO of 01GREEN, has been involved in mechanics and mechatronics in all their facets for about 40 years, starting from subcontracting to specializing in 3D printing for metals. With the ambition of advancing the industrialization of additive manufacturing, Marie-Louise Bergholt is stepping in as new director of the Application Center for Additive Manufacturing (AM Center) at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. The centre serves as an independent platform dedicated to fostering the widespread adoption of additive manufacturing throughout Sweden, thereby contributing to a sustainable transition and resilient value chains. "Since the establishment of the Application Center for Additive Manufacturing, there have been significant advancements in technology, industry maturity, and global demands. Our current ambition is to enhance the industrialization of additive manufacturing in Sweden. With a robust infrastructure, a growing network of partners, and a diverse range of activities and collaborations in place, we are well-positioned to achieve this," states Marie-Louise Bergholt.
