If it’s one thing I learned from being in sales, is how true this statement holds. You can’t wait to have the perfect script, the right pitch, cherry picking your prospects, perfect products, best prices or latest technology.. I can go on and on! The point is, you just have to DO IT and the rest will fall into place and you WILL figure out what works best for YOU! Reality check: you will never have the best and perfect anything. Just. Keep. Every way of selling is different, and no one style is better than the others. Whether you’re great at building relationships, closing deals quickly, or taking a consultative approach, it all depends on what works for you. But while no style is "better," there are different levels of skill in each approach. It’s not about finding the perfect way to sell, but about becoming really good at the way you sell. The more you practice and improve, the better you get at understanding your customers and closing sales.
