Construction launch of THE MIX, Paris-Saclay's first 'techtiaire' building 🏗️ 🦺Kadans Science Partner is proud to announce the start of construction work on THE MIX by general contractor BATEG (Vinci Construction). THE MIX will be the first techtiaire building in Paris-Saclay, with 15,000 m² dedicated to innovation and growth of the deeptech ecosystem. 🏙️🧪THE MIX is Kadans Science Partner's second project in France and arrives a year after the completion of THE HIVE. The building, designed by the architects of Chartier Dalix Architectes, offers around 50% laboratory and prototyping space, to accommodate a community of 600 researchers. 🔬THE MIX aims to support the growth of the Paris-Saclay ecosystem by enabling companies from the many innovation hubs to find suitable spaces for their prototyping and pre-industrialization phases. It will also enable major French and foreign companies to set up for innovation at the heart of Paris-Saclay. 🌳🏢Reflecting Paris Saclay's ambitions in terms of innovation and sustainability, the building will be constructed using sustainable and low-carbon materials. The project is a result of a virtuous collaboration between local players: the Établissement public d'aménagement Paris-Saclay (EPAPS), the Agglomération Paris-Saclay and the Gif sur Yvette town council. 🏦An important participant is ING in the financing of this project, after supporting Kadans Science Partner in its development in the Netherlands and Belgium. This partnership illustrates ING's desire to actively support projects at the heart of innovation and scientific progress. JLL will support the marketing activities. The building is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2026. #Construction #LifeSciences #Health #Innovation #Deeptech #Laboratory #Prototyping #Sustainable #Paris-Saclay #Paris #EPAPS, #ChartierDalix, #AgglomérationParisSaclay #GifsurYvette #ChartierDalix #ING #KhephrenIngénierie, #Barbanel, #BATEG, #PhiborEntreprises, #LefortFrancheteauVINCIEnergies, #Cicad #JLL
