Marco Diogo, head of the European Investment Bank in Brazil, and Rafael Segrera, LATAM President of Schneider Electric, also made notable contributions. The event featured esteemed speakers who shared perspectives on overcoming trade obstacles and building sustainable strategies. A key theme emerged: the importance of strong government-industry collaboration in driving positive change for businesses of all sizes across both the EU and Canada. Mid-term review of #horizoneurope is now. We need to think more in terms of where the #deal is for the #SME and #midcaps with the #greentransition. SMEs and Mid-Caps can not only go, but also lead the way. They don't need to satisfy investors, but they live in the middle of the society, and don't fly over it... and they also want a good future for their children. But with a successful company, not an insolvent one.

🎉 Denmark has officially reached 100 certified B Corp companies, and we are proud of being part of this community! 🌱 Back in 2021, we were only the 30th certified B Corp in Denmark. Now the B-team has more than tripled in size. 💚 The B Corp certification is great because it takes a holistic approach to being a more responsible company - rather than certifying specifics on individual products. It is not enough to use recycled plastic on some of your packaging or that one of your products is organic. To achieve the B Corp certification the company as a whole must excel in 5 categories: Environment, Community, Workers, Governance and Customers. Every three years you have to get recertified - which means that we are working on our recertification as we speak. This is a great opportunity to take a critical look at your business and ask yourself a lot of hard and important questions. We're celebrating the 1st anniversary of the Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement (#AUKFTA). Since entry into force, Australian goods exports with preferential treatment under the A-UKFTA increased by 16% to March 2024. 📈 We're seeing strong growth across a range of #agricultural sectors which are now tariff free under the FTA, providing greater choice and helping to drive down costs for the consumer. Australia’s #medtech and #cleantech exports also grew significantly to March 2024. The FTA makes it easier for UK companies to invest in Australian renewables and other green-tech industries. The FTA’s world-first Innovation Chapter encourages science and research collaboration, and commercialisation of emerging technologies. New mobility pathways and the mutual recognition of qualifications support expansion in our bilateral commercial interests.
