As you may know, the demand for PR services is growing rapidly in Uzbekistan 📈 And we, as an agency, are increasingly encountering the objection: "We decided to hire an in-house PR specialist." Hiring an in-house specialist is a great opportunity to immerse a person in all the internal details of the company. And it's also a great idea for me to write a little post about all the advantages and disadvantages of working with an in-house PR specialist 🙋♂️ So, let's look at all the positive aspects of hiring an in-house PR specialist: • Constant presence: your specialist is always aware of all the details of the company and can respond quickly to any crises; • An internal employee better understands the corporate culture, mission, and values of the company; • An in-house specialist is fully focused on the needs of your company and does not work concurrently with other clients. Disadvantages: • High costs: salary, taxes, training, and other expenses can be significant; • Limited resources: one person may not always be able to cover the entire spectrum of PR tasks, especially if you have a large company; • Finding a qualified specialist, especially in the Uzbek market, can be difficult and time-consuming. I have listed only the main aspects to consider when deciding to hire an in-house PR specialist What do you think, what other advantages and disadvantages could be added to this post? P.S. And yes, I'm not pulling the rope to the agency's side. My next post will be precisely about the advantages and disadvantages of working with a PR agency on an outsourced basis 🤝 #PublicRelations #PR #InHousePR #PRSpecialist #UzbekistanBusiness #BusinessGrowth #PRStrategy #EmployeeBenefits #BusinessDevelopment #PRServices #ProfessionalDevelopment #UzbekistanMarket #BusinessInsights

When thinking about ways to deliver your client's messages to their stakeholders, have you ever ventured into the realm of, "Oh, I don't think our client will go for that. They're not that out of the box"? But are they? As a communications consultant, I've learned that sometimes, the most unexpected ideas are the ones that resonate the most. It’s all about challenging the status quo and daring to explore new territories. I remember a long time ago at my previous agency, I suggested a hybrid activation involving office assistants (OB) across Jakarta to promote a line of print paper. At first, it seemed too unconventional, but it turned out to be a hit, drawing media attention and creating a buzz by celebrating the unsung heroes of everyday office life. The key is to know your client's values and boundaries and then gently push them towards creative horizons they hadn’t imagined. It’s about presenting bold ideas with confidence and showing them the potential for extraordinary impact. Forget about what you think your agency can/should and can't/shouldn't do. So next time you're brainstorming, repeat this mantra: "Let's hear it. I don't care that you think it won't work." It might just be the game-changer your client needs. P.S. Look into films and video games as vehicles to deliver your client's messages. #PReciousCommunications #PublicRelations #Marketing #OutsideTheBox #WhatBox

This rejection led me to quit my job and start a business In 2016, I came across a very unique F&B concept that was quite unknown. I felt that more people needed to know about the brand so I reached out and asked if they would be open to freelance public relations support. At that point, I had worked in various PR agency and inhouse communications jobs. I got rejected by this F&B brand. They said that they didn't have the budget to hire PR help. At that moment, I had a fleeting thought of doing PR for SMEs and startups at a smaller fee than what bigger agencies typically charged.. 🤔 Nothing happened after that. It was just a thought. Shortly after, I created a card game for seniors because my grandma has dementia and I was really interested in the ageing space. 🧓 I got the card game featured in loads of media publications. Many small business owners started reaching out to me when they saw my coverage.📰 I then started taking on freelance PR projects for these businesses and somehow started Grow Public Relations. Today, Grow PR is a cosy team of 13 people across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines. I often ask people I meet today: What is one problem or pain that led you to do what you do? #publicrelations #pragency #smes

THE GREATEST COMPLIMENT TO A RECRUITER! This week marked exactly 7.5 years since our first placement, an Account Manager, at City Vision. Fast forward to today, it has been a great pleasure watching them grow to be one of the largest, most innovative OOH companies in Indonesia. To date we have placed over 40 candidates, with the majority of them are managerial-level and above. One of our proudest moments was when the owners invited us to the opening of their new, much larger & very comfortable office. They hosted & showed us around, and while at the conference room, one of the owners said, "𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮." If you are a recruiter, you would know the feeling – this is why we do what we do. There are no greater compliments. Learn more about how match recruitment Indonesia assisted City Vision during their critical, transformational period where they needed to hire a new core team, ASAP. 👇 Check the comments for the link to our detailed case study! #recruitmentindonesia #headhunter #executivesearchindonesia #recruitment #talentacquisition #recruitmentjourney #executivesearch #leadershiphiring #cityvision

RB Consulting and Maverick Indonesia recently collaborated on a research study that surveyed 82 heads of corporate communications across various industries. Maverick Indonesia has now released a report detailing the state of corporate communication in Indonesia. This report is incredibly insightful for anyone involved in corporate communication and public relations. The report can be downloaded from https://maverick.co.id/ As a research consultant specializing in consumer behavior and market understanding, what stands out to me most about this report is its reinforcement of a crucial point I always emphasize to my clients: always validate your assumptions on your business strategies and plan with your target market. Assumptions about what might work can often be misguided. In this study, we interviewed 82 heads of corporate communication to understand how they view their roles, and to gauge perceptions of what is considered important and valuable by their CEOs. Concurrently, we conducted in-depth interviews with CEOs to learn about their expectations and perceptions of their corporate communication departments. The findings reveal significant gaps in how the roles of corporate communication are perceived, valued, and expected between the heads of corporate communication and their CEOs. This discrepancy within an organization suggests possible larger gaps between internal perceptions and the expectations of external stakeholders. If such discrepancies can occur within an organization, imagine the potential gaps between internal views and the perceptions of external stakeholders. Are you certain about how external shareholders perceive and expect from your organization? Feel free to reach out to discuss on the research side on corporate reputation and communication (https://www.rbconsult.co/) to me and to Maverick Indonesia for the communication strategy. #marketingresearch #corporatecommunication
