#NEWS | Embraer has received an additional Investment Grade rating, this time from Moody's. The agency raised the company’s credit rating from Ba1 to Baa3, with a positive outlook. A Embraer recebeu uma nota adicional de Grau de Investimento, desta vez da Moody’s. A agência de classificação de risco elevou de Ba1 (perspectiva positiva) para Baa3 (grau de investimento com qualidade boa) a nota de crédito da empresa, com perspectiva positiva. Essa é a terceira agência a conceder a classificação à Embraer este ano, depois de S&P Global Ratings, em fevereiro, e Fitch Ratings, em setembro. Líder na fabricação de jatos comerciais com até 150 assentos e maior exportadora de alta tecnologia do Brasil, a empresa está bem posicionada em todos os seus segmentos – Aviação Comercial, Aviação Executiva, Defesa & Segurança e Serviços & Suporte. Com uma carteira de pedidos em seu nível mais alto em nove anos, somando US$ 22,7 bilhões no terceiro trimestre, a Embraer tem projeção de encerrar 2024 com receita entre US$ 6,0 bilhões e US$ 6,4 bilhões e margem EBIT ajustada entre 9,0% e 10,0%. Em seu relatório, a Moody’s destaca a melhoria contínua das métricas de crédito, política financeira e liquidez como razões para a conquista do Grau de Investimento pela companhia. Esses fatores se relacionam com a recuperação gradual nas entregas, backlog em crescimento e com o desempenho operacional. Adicionalmente, a redução da dívida, impulsionada pela forte geração de fluxo de caixa livre, fortaleceu a posição da empresa. “Nosso foco em eficiência e na disciplina financeira são diferenciais importantes, em paralelo a nosso portifólio moderno e competitivo. #NEWS | Today, Embraer announced an adjusted net income of US$ 80 million in the 2Q2024, 38% higher than in the same period last year, thus reversing losses of US$ 12.8 million in the first quarter of this year. In 2Q24, the company registered US$ 1.494 billion in revenues, 16% more than in the same period last year, due to the delivery of 47 aircraft and services and support’s performance. In 2024, Embraer has a total of US$ 2.390 billion in revenues, 19% more than in the first half of 2023. The positive performance follows the sales momentum across all business units, which supported the company's backlog growth to US$ 21.1 billion, the highest level in 7 years and 22% higher than in the same period in 2023. Airbus Aircraft is currently facing challenges in meeting its annual delivery targets due to slower-than-expected jet deliveries. In July, the company revised its delivery forecast for the year from 800 to 770 aircraft, citing shortages of engines and other components. As of September, Airbus has delivered around 477 aircraft, slightly behind the 488 delivered in the same period last year. Analysts and industry sources express doubt about Airbus achieving even the revised target unless there is a significant uptick in deliveries in the fourth quarter. One of the primary bottlenecks is the supply of LEAP engines manufactured by Safran and GE Aerospace for the A320neo jets, along with other parts like landing gear. The stagnation in increasing the production rate has led to internal pressures to preserve cash, as inventory builds up due to production delays. Airbus has initiated a cost-cutting and performance improvement plan called LEAD! to address rising unit costs that are outpacing revenue. This situation underscores the significant impact supply chain constraints can have on large manufacturers. It also highlights the need for robust supply chain management and flexibility in production planning. NAS ALTURAS ✈️ O Itaú BBA revisou as estimativas para a fabricante de aeronaves Embraer e passa a estimar um preço-alvo de US$40, contra US$36 projetados anteriormente, de acordo com relatório divulgado aos clientes e ao mercado em que reforça a recomendação outperform, equivalente à compra.  A Embraer estaria voando alto em aviação comercial, com desempenho excelente em aviação executiva e passando para o modo ataque em defesa e segurança, segundo os analistas Daniel Gasparete, Gabriel Rezende e Luiz Capistrano. A mudança ocorre após o Embraer Day. Segundo o Itaú BBA, o forte momento operacional se traduziu em uma reclassificação e os analistas esperam um forte crescimento do EBITDA à frente, em torno de 23% no ano que vem. A operação societária envolvendo Boeing e Embraer, anunciada em 2018, prometia criar uma gigante da aviação comercial, com 80% da nova sociedade sob controle da Boeing e 20% da Embraer. O acordo foi amplamente esperado pelo mercado, mas em 2020, no auge da pandemia de Covid-19, a Boeing cancelou a operação, alegando que a Embraer não cumpriu certas condições contratuais. A Embraer contestou, levando o descumprimento contratual para uma disputa em arbitragem. Após longas negociações, o caso foi encerrado com a Boeing concordando em pagar US$ 150 milhões à Embraer, um valor abaixo das expectativas do mercado, que previa uma indenização entre US$ 200 e US$ 300 milhões. O acordo foi visto como uma derrota financeira para a Embraer, que havia investido significativamente em sua divisão comercial. As consequências foram imediatas, pois com divulgação do acordo as ações da Embraer caíram 5%, mostrando a frustração dos investidores com o baixo valor acordado e os impactos negativos da quebra do negócio.
