⚗ ⚗ ⚗ ⚗ ⚗ The Age of Experiential Retail Experiential retail is becoming more and more popular as brick and mortar stores try their hardest to pull consumers away from shopping online and into their physical stores. In the increasingly competitive retail market, unique experiences are key in helping make sure you stand out from the crowd. Experiential retail is about creating an experience which is beyond the norm and defies traditional retail marketing techniques in the physical retail space. As consumers choose to invest in experiences rather than products, creating an immersive retail experience is key to compete and capture the consumer’s attention. With the rise of internet shopping, consumers do not simply go in-store when they have the ability to do their shopping from the comfort of their own homes. Companies need to create memories to elevate the shopping experience by fusing retail and entertainment together, creating experiential experiences.

I was in the Westfield shopping centre yesterday there was so many great examples of visual Retailing. One store I was impressed with was Aesop WHY🧐 Having worked with Retail brands like Rituals in the past I know the power of creating an experiential experience for customers and how that increases the Kpis in the business. This store had its first touchpoint of this outside the store whereby you could try the product before entering the store as it was part of the window display. I loved seeing this as I know from working with retail brands that it increases conversion rates and footfall. Did you know that up to 50% of customers that try your product will buy???? How easy is it for your customers to buy and how interactive do you make it for them? #retailing #experiences #retaildisplay
