Sustainable #transport plays a major role in the fight against the #climatecrisis. Cycling, walking, public transit, & vehicle electrification are all solutions cities can implement to reduce emissions while building equity and access for people of all backgrounds.

🚴♀️ **Bicycles aren't impeding traffic, they *are* traffic!** As more people embrace cycling for commuting, exercise, and recreation, it's essential to foster a mindset of shared responsibility on the road. Cyclists aren't obstacles but fellow travelers with the same right to safe passage. Respecting their space makes our streets safer for everyone. When we prioritize safety, patience, and mutual respect, we create a more inclusive road environment. Today is World #SustainableTransport Day - a chance to celebrate all the brilliant benefits that sustainable transport brings. When we invest in public transport, walking and cycling, we are improving lives and our environment in so many ways.

🌞 One of the things I love about working from the office is the chance to switch things up and bike to work. Not only do I get to enjoy the fresh air and a safe parking spot, but it's also a small step towards a greener Sofia / Bulgaria / 🌍. 🚗 Driving takes about 15 minutes (minus the parking hassle), while 🚲 biking takes just 17 minutes—plus, I burn 50 calories and save ~0.9kg of CO2 every trip. This year alone, I've: ✅ Saved 79kg of CO2 🌱 ✅ Biked 314km to the office 🚴♂️ ✅ Logged 1,610 active minutes 🕒 Big shoutout to Tumba Solutions for participating in the European Mobility Week initiative! It’s a great reminder that small changes can make a big difference—for you, your city, and the environment. Yes, breaking old habits can be tough, but after just a couple of rides, you'll be asking yourself: "When can I ride again?" 🚴❤️ #Sustainability #BikeToWork #HealthyLiving #EuropeanMobilityWeek #ClimateAction

🌍 On #WorldSustainableTransportDay we remember that rail is one of the greenest forms of transport, contributing to just 1.4% of all transport emissions in the UK.
