💡 Hiring Struggles Reflect Your Own Flaws Brian Glass, our esteemed podcast guest, effectively highlights a common issue in the job market: often, the problem isn't a shortage of good employees, but rather a mismatch between what certain employers offer and what potential employees seek. He emphasizes the importance of creating an appealing work environment to attract and retain talent. It's unfortunate when employers resort to blaming the job market instead of reflecting on their own practices and values. This underscores the significance of workplace culture and employer-employee dynamics. Overall, his message encourages employers to take responsibility for fostering environments that people genuinely want to be a part of. #GrowLawFirm #LegalMarketing #LeadershipMindset #ProductivityTips #Efficiency

NEW EPISODE ALERT! 📢 Tensions are high in American workplaces. Trust between employers and employees seems to be lost, and we are reaching a boiling point. We must rebuild trust in our workplaces for the healthy function of our economy and society. Luckily, employee resource groups (ERGs), which are common in many companies across the country, provide an opportunity to do just that, but few companies realize the true potential of these groups. In this episode of The Disgruntled Millennial, I chat with Joseph Santana (He, him), a consultant that has worked with companies across the US to plan and launch #ERG and #DEI initiatives, about how these groups can be leveraged to solve the #trustcrisis in American workplaces.

Obsessing over how your pay gap looks compared to others is a waste of your time. A few months ago I spoke with a client in the higher education sector about their pay gap issues. Turns out they had a LOT of big issues going on behind the scenes. But do you know what their biggest concern was? How their pay gap was bigger than their competitors. Which floored me. Because they had bigger fish to try internally. Yet all their energy was focused on their high pay gap and what people would THINK about them. Which made it clear to me why their previous actions were not giving them the results that they wanted. They were stuck in inaction. So what should you do if your pay gap has stagnated or got worse and you're concerned about it? Well, this is exactly what I discuss in this podcast episode. Listen and let me know what you think and how you'll put my advice into practice. https://lnkd.in/d-cAerEw #PayGaps #BeyondThePayGapFigure #Podcast
