My safe space is lying down on my bed, covered up, with the curtains closed and the lights off while listening to gospel music. This peaceful environment helps me decompress and recharge during stressful moments, especially when I’ve been triggered. The soothing music creates a calming atmosphere that allows me to reflect, pray, and find comfort in God’s presence.
