John Frechette, Yifei Xu and I are incredibly excited to launch our new product, Moara.io.
We started this project to solve our own challenges. Like many researchers, we were frustrated by the overwhelming number of tools needed just to navigate, manage, and analyze academic literature. Even with all these tools, we spent countless hours searching, reading, and trying to make sense of it all—only to end up with a narrow perspective. The insights were out there, but we had to claw and scratch to uncover them.
We began using Moara internally, and immediately saw a boost in productivity and the quality of our work. When we shared it with friends and colleagues, the response was clear—this tool had the potential to transform how research is done. Our first beta cohort confirmed it: Moara is a platform that researchers have been waiting for.
But this is about much more than solving today’s research challenges—we’re building for the future.
The sheer volume of information available will continue to grow exponentially, and researchers will need tools that not only help them find relevant data but also contextualize, synthesize, and provide actionable insights at scale.
The future lies in stateful AI-driven technologies that free researchers from combing through endless sources and augment their interaction with data, allowing them to focus on solving complex problems and generating impactful ideas. At Moara.io, we’re building for this future—creating a platform that enhances human creativity, curates knowledge, and automates the tedious tasks of research, all while helping researchers collaborate seamlessly.
We’re just getting started, but the vision is clear: we want Moara.io to be at the forefront of this revolution in research, and we’re building that future today.
Please give Moara.io a follow to show your support and share with the world!
A very special thank you to these folks for their help & guidance: Thomas Squeo, Varshil Anavadia, Christopher Fiorelli, Kartheek Solipuram, Keith Blackwell, Ajit Deora, Gabriel Borunda, Gianna Maihofer
The next evolution in scientific research is here.
So much of science remains untapped—buried in unstructured academic papers, fragmented across disciplines, and nearly impossible to manage and reconcile.
Moara changes that.
Powered by persistent and adaptive AI, Moara helps you curate, organize, and consume unprecedented amounts of research. A tool designed for those who demand more than traditional search and results.
