Low-carbon energy technologies are growing, but bottlenecks could slow the energy transition at a time when the rollout of clean technologies needs to accelerate. Five technologies - solar, wind, EVs, heat pumps and green hydrogen - could make up for more than 50% of emission abatement. Successfully scaling these, will requiring overcoming bottlenecks in terms of e.g., materials, infrastructure, unit economics and investment capacity.
