Launch of the National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) training course and an online exam practice simulator for Canadian professional engineering licence application Building on the success of the NPPE Online Test Simulator that I developed some time ago, I am thrilled to launch the comprehensive NPPE Course this time! This course is tailored for engineering graduates both locally in Canada and internationally, aiming to obtain their professional engineering license (P.Eng) in Canada. After serious efforts—and unearthing my old notes from book reads—I’ve finally developed this course to cover the entire NPPE syllabus within 6 modules and 40 submodules. I’m confident that taking this course and practicing on the NPPE Test Simulator will more than equip engineering graduates to sit in NPPE confidently. The course features the following modules: Module I: Professionalism (4 Submodules) Module II: Ethics (4 Submodules) Module III: Professional Practice (10 Submodules) Module IV: Law for Professional Practice (14 Submodules) Module V: Professional Law (4 Submodules) Module VI: Regulation of Members & Discipline Processes (4 Submodules) Each module and submodule is designed to align with the NPPE syllabus to ensure that all the concepts are covered well. I wish you success in your NPPE journey and invite you to explore the details and share your feedback! https://lnkd.in/g6qkfaUq #NPPE #EngineeringLicensure #ProfessionalDevelopment #PEng #NationalProfessionalPracticeExamPreparation

Final text of the revised Construction Products Regulation adopted by the European Parliament We have been informed that the revised Construction Products Regulation has been approved as a result of the European Parliament plenary sitting on 7 October 2024. The English version of the compromise text had been adopted in April 2024. The final text has now been accepted in all official languages. The regulation still needs to be approved by the Council and is expected to be published in the Official Journal of the European Union in December 2024 or January 2025 and entry into force 20 days after publication. Having closely monitored the developments since the adoption of the initial proposal of the European Commission in March 2022, the UBAtc and its approval and certification operators, ANPI asbl-vzw, BCCA - Belgian Construction Certification Association, Buildwise, COPRO, ISIB, PROCERTUS, SECO Belgium and WOOD.BE, come to the following conclusions: - The European Technical Assessment will continue to be the instrument that manufacturers may use to draw up declarations of performance for products not (yet) covered by European harmonised technical specifications and based on that declaration, to affix the CE marking on their products - The European Assessment Documents will continue to be the basis for the development of European Technical Assessments - The European Organisation for Technical Assessment, EOTA, has the intention to continue acting as the organisation that unites the Technical Assessment Bodies and coordinates their efforts - The UBAtc will still be able to satisfy the requirements enabling the organisation to continue being a member of EOTA and responsible for the development and the issuing of European Technical Assessments At least for the time being, it is not yet fully clear how the transition from the present towards the future revised Construction Products Regulation will take place. EOTA is taking the necessary steps towards clarifying the situation. The UBAtc will communicate with its clients as soon as the situation becomes clearer. You can consult the text accepted by the European Parliament on 7 October 2024, here: https://lnkd.in/epccPbUr Annually, the UBAtc issues some 25 European Technical Assessments. You may find them all on the following page: https://lnkd.in/gfCdmid9. #UBAtc #ETA #CPR #laconstructiondedemain #CEMarking #EOTA #EAD #ConstructionProductsRegulation
