🌟From Diagnosis to Advocacy 🌟 In 2015, Jheric Delos Angeles was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma at just 24. As the breadwinner of his family, he faced not only the physical toll of cancer but also the emotional burden of how to manage work, life, and treatment. By 2016, Jheric reached remission and has since been an active voice in the cancer community. Today, he leads the Patient Advocacy efforts at Enna Health. His advice to patients: “Acknowledge how you feel, ask for help, and remember—you are more than your cancer. Take it one day at a time.” Jheric’s story embodies the resilience and community spirit that drives Enna Health’s mission to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives. 💪 #CancerAwareness #Resilience #PatientSupport #EnnaHealth #CancerCommunity #HealthTech #PatientAdvocacy #CancerSurvivor #Lymphoma #CancerJourney #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalHealth #MentalHealth #SupportSystem

Stop believing this myth about breast cancer research! 🎯 Save this post so you’ll never fall for it again. 💡 Have you ever heard someone say, “Clinical trials are only for people with no other options”? If you’ve nodded along, you’re not alone—but here’s the truth: this belief is one of the most harmful myths out there. And it’s costing lives. 💔 The truth? Clinical trials aren’t a “last resort.” They’re a FIRST step in advancing treatment and, sometimes, accessing the most cutting-edge options available. Here’s the breakdown you need to know: 1️⃣ Early Access to Innovation: Clinical trials often include treatments that aren’t available yet but could be more effective than current options. For many, this creates life-changing opportunities. 2️⃣ Diversity Matters: For treatments to work FOR ALL, we need research that includes ALL. That means diverse participants—women of different ages, ethnicities, and family histories—are crucial to developing inclusive care. 3️⃣ More Than Just Survival: Trials often focus on improving quality of life—like managing side effects or boosting emotional well-being—not just treating the disease. So, why miss out? All it takes is curiosity, advocacy, and support to explore if clinical trials could be a fit for YOU or your loved one. 💪 💪🏾 What’s holding you back from exploring this option? Drop your thoughts below—we’re in this together. 🗨️ #BreastCancerResearch #BreastCancerAwareness #ClinicalTrials #BreastCancerSupport #DiversityInResearch #AdvocateForYourself #HealthEquity #BreastCancerEducation #BreastCancerCommunity #PatientAdvocacy #WomenInMedicine #SupportSystem #CancerAwareness #CancerCare #EmotionalSupportMatters #BreastCancerJourney #StrengthThroughResearch

Healthcare costs are rising rapidly, and patients are constantly paying more. Some even put off or forgo treatment because they can’t afford it. Adding to those high costs is the fact that patients are being charged more for the same service based on where it is provided. But getting a weekly chemo infusion should cost the same whether provided in a doctor's office or hospital outpatient department. There is a solution that would solve this problem, reduce patient costs, and simultaneously save federal dollars without shortchanging physicians. It’s called site neutrality. Join us online or in person for a POLITICO Live event sponsored by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society TOMORROW (Wednesday) to learn about it—and hear directly from bill sponsors and experts about why lawmakers must include it in a year-end package. For D.C.-based professionals, the event is at Long View Gallery, 1234 9th St NW, Washington, D.C 20001. Speakers include: ✔️ U.S. Senator @Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) ✔️U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) ✔️Beth Feldpush, Senior Vice President of Advocacy & Policy, America’s Essential Hospitals ✔️Elizabeth Jurinka, Operating Director, Healthcare Policy, Vistria PRG ✔️Marialanna Lee, MSc, Senior Vice President, Public Policy, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ✔️Zachary Levinson, Project Director, KFF Project on Hospital Costs[BW6] Register here: https://lnkd.in/eWJpzq-8 #PatientAdvocacy #POLITICOHealth #SiteNeutral #siteneutrality #loweringhealthcarecosts #SameServiceSamePrice #cancer #bloodcancer
