We implemented a 4.5 day week for our team in January - here's how we're managing our busy season... 🤔 October is busy season for us as many clients make gifts for their teams, customers, fans, etc. for Christmas. We're keeping the 4.5 day week. So here's what we're doing: 1. All of our team know it's busy season, we've told everyone (sounds stupid I know but I may not always have been really clear 🫠 ). 2. No holidays during October unless critical family event etc. (eg. wedding). We set this expectation months out. 3. We can't be late. Every day matters. This is discussed at every meeting. 4. Super organised. I'm not naturally organised so almost everyone I've ever hired is the opposite. It feels like the army sometimes 😂 . 5. Respond to Clients. Always. Fast. This is in our DNA. I'm expecting we'll have a very busy season but the team will LOVE it - it's fun making stuff and seeing the responses. And, of course, we'll plant some 🌳 's.
