💊 Three years of work, a total investment of € 3.000.000,00. These are the digits that accompany the new packaging line of Valpharma International S.p.A., one of the three companies of Valpharma Group, that recently received the AIFA Agenzia Italiana del farmaco (Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco) authorization to pack products. For Valpharma Group’s clients, full-service products are available, from manufacture to packaging ready for pharmacy counters. ⏳The new plant shortens the distribution chain, by up to two months, making the production process even more efficient and sustainable. #ValpharmaGroup has always been a high-level player in contract manufacturing of solid oral drugs, but never handled the packaging, at least, until today. A small revolution for the whole Group. 🏆 “The company has been working on the project since 2021, when we boldly decided to create our own know-how, with an innovation and study effort that is still on-going and will continue for the coming years: we will continue to invest in the future” - recalls Alessia Valducci, Chairwoman of Valpharma Group. The blisters packaging line, complete of phase one and phase two, has been installed by Marchesini Group S.p.A.. Through track and trace systems by SEA Vision, the new line can also implement serialization and aggregation processes. Valpharma Group predicted to amortize the expenditure within three to four years. Alberto Vitez, General Manager of Valpharma Group, emphasizes that “it is a true paradigm change. The new plant will offer us new business opportunities and open us up to new projects and lead to an improvement in economic performances of Valpharma Group”. 🎯 “It was a long and complex project, as it represented the beginning of new manufacturing journey. We carried out several in-depth studies, trainings on new skills and, thanks to the support of our suppliers and through the tenacity of Valpharma Internationals colleagues, we managed to achieve this important goal” underlines Roberto Reali, General Manager of Valpharma International S.p.A.
