What's the biggest difference between boutique firms and larger agencies? With a boutique firm, you've got to be so intentional about E-V-E-R-Y single client you let back out into the world. It's your name on the door, and the success of each project directly impacts your reputation. There’s no room for mediocrity—every outcome has to be a home run. On the other hand, larger agencies can "afford" to churn through unhappy clients and therefore much less invested in their success. Why? 1) They have business development teams constantly lining up new opportunities to replace client attrition. 2) They operate behind layers of management, making accountability blurry—no one individual is truly on the line. 3) A negative referral or word-of-mouth doesn’t stop new business from walking in the door—the next client just assumes they were poorly managed. The stakes are much higher in a boutique firm. You're only as good as your last project. (Those will be the people you call on for referrals during your next new business meeting.) So if you're looking for your next hire in PR, I'd strongly encourage you to consider boutique firms or independent consultants. Chances are, they won't let you down—and they might just become invaluable member(s) of your team.

Your brand is your reputation. For recruiters, this is your secret weapon—a magnetic personal brand isn't just a nice-to-have. A strong personal brand for a #recruiter is not about logos and catchy taglines; it's about embodying an image of trust, expertise, and approachability. It's how you, as a recruiter, can resonate with both clients and candidates, making them feel they are not just another transaction. It's about consistently sharing your industry insights, celebrating success, and offering valuable advice. By doing so, it's not just what you do that's clear—it's how well you do it. In today's market, both clients and candidates have choices. They are more often than not looking for someone who not only delivers but also aligns with their values. It's something I set out to change with Paiger, and now we're helping thousands of recruiters do it every single day. Crazy when you think 5 years ago when we launched, it wasn't really a *thing*. #recruiting #recruiters

What's your number? 🎯 Often when I ask recruitment agency owners how much more revenue they'd like to make, they say.... "about double what I'm making now." Sometimes it's more, but that's the most common answer I get. 👏 That's OK, double is a good goal to go for. It's likely achievable with the right strategy. 😯 But often that's where it stops. → Ok... you want to double your revenue. Great! → Then your strategy has to match that goal. → Unless you are going to double your hours. How are you going to fill twice as many roles in the same amount of hours? If this isn't figured out - this is where stress will set in. Your number is only as good as the growth strategy behind it... Good growth strategy = results (not stress!) If you want help with this reach out to me - I'm happy to help. #growthstrategy #rggrowthtips #recruitmentowner
