In the grand theatre of existence, our environment is the stage upon which the drama of life unfolds. Imagine trying to perform without a stage, without the essential backdrop that makes every act possible. This is the environment – the foundational canvas of our prosperity and survival. Prosperity is not just wealth but the flourishing of life in all its forms. It’s the rivers that sing, the forests that breathe, and the skies that embrace us. Without the environment, this symphony of prosperity falls silent, leaving us in a void where growth and life can no longer thrive. The environment is not just a part of life; it is the essence that breathes life into our dreams and aspirations. It is the soil that nurtures us, the air that fills our lungs, and the water that quenches our thirst. Imagining life without the environment is like imagining a story without words – it simply cannot exist. Our priorities must align with this truth. Before we chase after progress and success, we must ensure that our environment is cared for and protected. It is the bedrock of all our endeavours, the silent supporter of every step we take. On this World Environment Day, let’s renew our commitment to making the environment our foremost priority. Let’s celebrate the green guardians that stand tall, the oceans that cradle life, and the skies that shelter us. Let’s pledge to nurture and protect our planet, for it is the home of our prosperity and the cradle of our existence. May our actions today sow seeds of sustainability for generations to come.

"What we do to the Earth, we do to ourselves." Yesterday marked the 88th birthday of the legendary Canadian academic, author, science broadcaster, and environmental activist David Suzuki. I was lucky enough of sharing a beer with him a few years back. Our chat didn't last for more than half an hour I guess, but it was one of the most inspirational conversations I've had, significantly accelerating my environmental efforts. Imagine the challenges Suzuki faced when he began his crusade for our planet in the late 50s early 60s until today? It's not often that I find myself starstruck, but this encounter was an exception! If a person do one percent of what he has done, it still is impressive. If I limited myself to only quoting Suzuki's insightful comments, I'd have material for years on LinkedIn. For now, I'll share this thought-provoking quote: "We're in a giant car heading towards a brick wall, and everyone's arguing over where they're going to sit. It's time we focused on the important issue: who's driving the car, and how can we stop the car before we hit the wall?" Let's stop the polarisation and focus on working together. Ok? #sustainabledevelopment #sdgs #DavidSuzuki #tourismindustry #travelindustry #environmentalactivism

That's a great analogy Professor Nitish Priyadarshi, earth's average temperature has gone up by about 1.2 °C since the late 1800s because of more carbon emissions.. Just like a long fever can harm our bodies, this rising temperature can seriously damage our planet and us. This shows how important it is to adopt sustainable practices to keep Earth healthy. #ClimateChange #GlobalWarming #Sustainability
Our planet is boiling. Understand in a simple way.
