Interesting project and use case for laserscanning .. in Bavaria's "Canada"

In the Isarwinkel, a team from the TUM School of Engineering and Design (ED), led by Prof. Katharina Anders and Prof. Martin Werner, is studying Germany's last major alpine wild river landscape. Using advanced geodetic methods like UAV photogrammetry, GNSS, and TLS, they analyze the river's behavior, sediment transport, and ecosystem dynamics. The goal is to better understand long-term changes in this unique natural environment.
