Don’t buy food from strangers Instead of a drone we’ve got a 24 year old van with holes in the floor, that chat bot is named Hannah, and she usually responds in between toddler meltdowns, and overnight shipping is just out of the question. So in this world where everything is just a click away why would anyone even bother with us? https://lnkd.in/eCMUY_CF We are just Hannah, Joey, and Emmylou. We do not ever aspire to sell to supermarkets. We don’t in fact want to be able to respond instantly to every email or social media message. We don’t even want to acquire more land. We do admit that would like to work a little less so we can enjoy our farm and family. Plus we would like health insurance and a little savings at the end of the year. Mostly we want to make sure that we know all of our customers. We want to always offer flexibility, and if someone in our community needs help, we want to be available. We want the farm to be a place that helps others feel peaceful and calm. SCOTTISH FARMED SHELLFISH SECTOR LOOKS TO FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE The figures revealed in the recently published Scottish #Shellfish Farm Production Survey 2023 underlines the resilience of the sector post Covid and its capacity to increase output, according to Dr Nick Lake, CEO of the ASSOCIATION OF SCOTTISH SHELLFISH GROWERS LIMITED .
