The #ReFuelEU Aviation Regulation sets a 1.2% synthetic fuels target in EU airports by 2030, and the maritime sector is also looking into different e-fuel solutions for their #decarbonisation obligations. It’s a pivotal time for hydrogen as producers aim to play a key part in the race to net zero. At the World Hydrogen Summit this week Australian companies including Pilot Energy Limited (ASX:PGY) were among the happiest, especially after the Budget’s multibillion-dollar support for the industry was announced. But Pilot’s Executive Chairman Brad Lingo highlighted that regulatory frameworks are also important. Vallourec and H2V have agreed to work together on a new project, focused on the integration of the new Delphy hydrogen storage solution, developed by Vallourec. This storage system, created by Vallourec, is a large-scale, vertical hydrogen storage solution, which has been designed to be capable of holding a maximum of one hundred tons of hydrogen in a gaseous state. The storage solution is also designed to hold the hydrogen under maximum safety conditions. 🚀 Exciting News! 🚀 Toyota Motor Europe has partnered with two of our RHeaDHy partners: Hydrogen Refueling Solutions - HRS and ENGIE Lab Crigen to develop next-generation hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. This collaboration aims to innovate a fast and versatile hydrogen refuelling system, significantly reducing refuelling times and costs. This new technology, based on the new Twin Mid Flow Technology, features a twin nozzle that enables refuelling heavy-duty vehicles in less than 10 minutes and light-duty vehicles in less than 5 minutes, eliminating the need for separate dispensers. This collaboration will help lay the foundations for a future where hydrogen plays a central role in decarbonizing transport worldwide. It was recently agreed that Everfuel will be supplying 10,000 tonnes of green hydrogen every year from 2028. This order is intended for an unnamed German customer. Along with this agreement, a Letter of Intent (LoI) has been created and this states that the initial supply amount should be the same as the hydrogen output from a 100MW electrolyser, which is operationally optimised. The article below displays an excellent development within the hydrogen industry, which involves the transportation of hydrogen and the decarbonisation of industrial processes. Enabling the transport of hydrogen through pipelines means that a wider variety of businesses will have access to the benefits of decarbonisation.
