Some moments become engrained in my soul. Like the time when we took up all three parking spots at our first office. The same one when we needed a 5th plumbing truck, and a 3rd vac truck. The same one when we invested in lining equipment, and got a big PO the next week. This feeling is addictive, and it is one that I continue to chase daily. It is the feeling when a dream becomes a reality, when a vision becomes a real picture. It’s a feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything, because just like a young boy who has dreams of becoming something, I get to relive this feeling every once in a while. The front parking lot is full, the back also. As of next week we will start parking on the grass. This is the evolution of GreenTeam | Building Services, and the experience of all the feelings, is the reward for all the fighting it takes to get here. This is the award, nothing fancy, just the re-assurance that we’re on to something big. 70+ employees this week, and growing daily. Train is rolling, we’re gonna cover Florida in Green. The big question is, who is coming with us???

A Big thanks to Mark Williams-Cook Sevi M. and everyone at Candour for having me at #SearchNorwich last night. I had a blast doing my Mechanics Of Storytelling For Marketers presentation - with a bit of an audience workshop in the middle. The presentation breaks down the elements of what makes a story to provide a framework for people writing pitches, social media, blogs and emails. I'm not a proper SEO but I work with SEOs - people who are amazing at data. The challenge is often how to turn that data into something that a non-SEO can understand. I love working with our Head of SEO Amy Baker to turn data into compelling stories - reports and recommendations for our clients. I hoped that my presentation would help SEOs to better communicate their findings and recommendations to stakeholders, from writers to clients. #contentmarketing #storytelling #brandstorytelling #writing #content #SEO

The Chair of South of Scotland Enterprise has called on businesses to go to the NatureScot hub for accurate details of what a Galloway National Park would mean. The Open Letter by SOSE Chair, Russel Griggs, emphasises that the soon-to-start consultation process would allow any new park to be shaped to Galloway’s needs and interests. He says: We are not being asked to consider whether we want to have a National Park that looks like the existing National Parks in Scotland, or to recreate those structures. We, as a region, have been given the unique chance to create the one we want, if that is what we decide. No single blueprint for a new National Park is prescribed in any legislation.” Mr Griggs emphasises that no decisions have been made and that SOSE has yet to decide its own formal position. He adds that the debate over a National Park should be properly informed, saying: “It is, of course, right that we debate these issues, but people need to choose wisely, informed by accurate information. “And to allow that debate to happen, I would urge everyone to conduct these discussions in a respectful way, with understanding of other people’s positions and perspectives and without personal attacks.” · The NatureScot hub is at https://lnkd.in/eubJcbrX · For the full letter see https://lnkd.in/e8QhUBYZ
