Very interesting for Didida Digital Health Africa ! We have two partners from Uganda in our consortium: Uganda National Health Research Organisation UNHRo and the Ministry of Health. Didida is creating a digital health solution to diagnose multiple diseases at a time and we will partner with the Ministry of Health of Uganda to test it at a national level. We are very happy to learn that Uganda is setting up this national health data warehouse. We hope to be able to be a user!

10 days to go for the biggest global one health event, the World One Health Congress 2024 happening in #CapeTown, #SouthAfrica. I am excited to represnt Integral Global and the Kingston Lab, Texas Tech University, USA at this prestigious platform. I will present our interesting work related to One Health Drivers of #AMR in #Pakistan. Our Country Lead, Moh’ M. Alhaji, PhD, will join colleagues at the Africa Digital Health Summit in Lagos this Thursday and Friday (June 27-28). They will discuss findings from our exploratory study on optimizing the hybrid e-pharmacy platform for family planning in Lagos. A snippet from our survey revealed that while awareness of family planning among the underserved population was high (87%), awareness of accessibility via digital health platforms is low (16%). Barriers include lack of awareness, trust issues, privacy concerns, and cost perceptions. Our ongoing lab-in-the-field study aims to address these barriers and improve access for underserved populations through low-tech equity model prototypes.
