We may not always call them boundaries, but every time a manager feels that her Gen Z team member isn't applying for leave as per company policy or isn't engaged at a team bonding activity, it is a 'boundary conversation' that got missed. I feel so enriched after having spoken to Pallavi at length about these conundrums we have heard in our discussions with managers. It is up to us as managers to have those difficult chats early on, when we bring a young talent onboard. Use proven frameworks or create your own to ensure that these chats are sharp, simple, and sustainable.
