Please feel free to reach out to schedule a meeting. 🌴 We’re Happy to Meet You in Dubai! ☀️ About the Middle East market: The year 2023 was a record year with regard to the newly installed PV capacity in the Middle East. The seven markets monitored by EUPD Research in the Middle east managed to install more than 5 GWs of new PV. Three markets managed to enter the GW range of installations last year: · United Arab Emirates (2.43 GW) · Saudi Arabia (1.15 GW) · And Israel (1.10 GW) These three PV heavyweights accounted for more than 90% of all the PV installations in the region and are expected to continue their upward trend in 2024. EUPD Research forecasts 2024 to be another record year for the region with around 7 GW of new PV systems to be installed. The rising star in 2024 is expected to be Oman with 1.6 GW of PV installations. Iran and Jordan are also slowly gearing up their PV installations by installing around 600 MW and 300 MW respectively. #intersolar #middleeast #dubai #saudiArabia #pv #solar #storage

It was a great pleasure to attend the 7th International Conference on RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION AND APPLICATION (ICREGA 2024) that was hosted at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia and also co-hosted by United Arab Emirates University, UAE. We had the opportunity to attend the conference virtually and present a total of four papers related to Solar energy applications, which I authored and co-authored. The papers are as follows: 1. Adaptive cooling framework for Photovoltaic systems: A seasonal investigation under the terrestrial conditions of Sharjah, UAE. 2. Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System for DC Power Forecasting for Grid-Connected PV System in Sharjah. 3. An Automated and Cost-efficient Method for Photovoltaic Dust Cleaning based on Biaxially Oriented Polyamide Coating Material. 4. Experimental investigation on the thermal and exergy efficiency for a 2.88 kW Grid connected photovoltaic/thermal system. I would like to thank the conference organizers for hosting this fruitful and wonderful conference. Also, my sincere thanks to all the co-authors and collabrators for their contributions in this work. #research #conference #UAE #SaudiArabia #solarenergy #PVsystems #AI #Experiments #presentations #renewableenergy #greenenergy #sustainability

Our CEO, Hatem Al-Mosa Al Mosa and RAKGAS CEO, Chris Wood, discuss energy security collaboration across the northern Emirates. "The northern Emirates lack sufficient energy supply, whether gas or electricity, and they rely on the rest of the UAE to meet their energy demands. To address these challenges, greater collaboration between the northern Emirates, and with Abu Dhabi and Dubai, is crucial. This includes gas supply, power networks and infrastructure like gas pipelines and storage facilities." Read the rest of the interview on page 5: https://lnkd.in/d-pSwskm Gulf Intelligence #energy

Energy security for the Northern Emirates isn’t a challenge that can be solved in isolation. The collaboration between SNOC and RAKGAS is a prime example of how interconnected solutions—whether in gas storage, infrastructure, or regulation—are vital to ensuring long-term resilience. Our CEO, Chris Wood, continues to drive this vision with a focus on partnership and big-picture thinking. As we navigate the energy transition, these kinds of collaborative efforts will be critical for securing the future of energy-intensive industries while embracing new opportunities in renewable energy. #EnergySecurity #Collaboration #Sustainability

Yemen has begun the first phase of generating electricity from its solar power station provided by UAE in Aden. The trial operation starts this week with 30 megawatts out of 120 megawatts. Full operational capacity is expected to begin in April. The UAE has implemented all necessary techniques, technology, and a specialized team to ensure successful operation. The UAE's development model is being transferred to the south, and the Emirati leadership aims to spread clean energy concepts, culture, and technology to the region. The UAE solar power plant will prevent power outages, alleviate suffering, and save the Yemeni government tens of millions of dollars on oil purchases. #yemen #aden #yemensolarplant #adensolarplant #uae #renewableenergy #cleanenergy #uaerenewableenergyinvestment #yemensolarplantbyuae
