One of the ways we do this is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant we have at our Tweed Valley Maltings, which gives us the ability to treat used process water - that would ordinarily be discharged - and reuse it. This reduces the demand on the area’s water resources and boreholes we abstract from, whilst also reducing the wastewater we discharge.
